Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, Sandusky OH

The hostess almost turned us away because we were a large party which was ridiculous because there was no one in the dining room was the only turn off that I can say because the food was excellent and the server was on point she was quick, polite, helpful and very informative.

Need to update their app for the wait times. Got there said no wait time on app then had to wait a hour. Can't make reservations either

Everything was delicious, as always service is always very good.and I will have lunch tomorrow.

This is by far one of the nicest olive gardens we have been to. Service was awesome. I use to be a server and everything came out in perfect timing.

Food was nice and so is the hospitality of the place. There is a style in the way they serve the food. They bring a table and put the food on it and then start putting the cheese on your food and ask you to stop them when you think it's enough. Totally it's a place worth the money that we spend.

I use to love olive garden, but their service has gone down the drain. Now, if i order olive garden i eat it at home.

When we wat at olive garden it usually good but this visit was not. Food was cold, pasta was not good if you get a salad it just the normal one would not recommend.

THUS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE EVER WENT! I go there every year for my birthday and I LoOVE the burgers at the end! And I would know I live by there

Had Margarita chicken. The zucchini side dish was great; but, the chicken tasted like ocean trout. Service was excellent.

Worse experience at an Olive Garden ever! Waitress was terrible, food was terrible. I left and didn't eat a thing! I'm not from here so whenever I do visit Ohio again, I won't be back!

It's a olive garden.the service is decent the food leaves no great impression it's ok for what it is though

There was such a huge wait and when we finally got to our table it took about half an hour for the waiter to even talk to is. Even more, when we ordered salad with ranch on the side and italian dressing on the side the salad took forever to get here and when we got it we had no ranch and there was italian dressing in the salad. There food also wasn't that great. The only thing I really liked about the dining experience was the breadsticks were great.

Just had a great meal at Sandusky Olive Garden. Our waiter John really knew his stuff. He suggested a new wine - had sample then order a bottle. It was an excellent choice. He recommended a steak dish, again great choice. It is so nice to have a waiter who acts like he enjoys his job.

Food was good, but service not too much. Waitress was using her cell phone. Also did not make sure order was correct before bring out. And never did receive the second beverage that we ordered.

Our waiter (Tom) was terrific! Food was great as usual. We took advantage of the take one home, so were set with dinner for a couple of days!

Wide selection of favorites. Standard setting with great service and the wide menu Olove Garden is famous for.

Usually have a good experience here but this time we were seated and studied the menus for about 10 minutes and nobody came to wait on us so we just left.

The food was very good and portions were huge. All 4 of us had to take some home because we couldnt finish our meal. But the best part was the service!

Food is overpriced for the quality. Angel hair pasta was mushy. Sauce, watery. Soup before meal just as bad. Ckicken chewy, dumplings over cooked and pasty. Soup had zero flavor. Sausage was decent. Server was fine. Will stay away from now on

Have been here several times, always a good experience. Great food, good prices, good staff. They get busy sometimes and have people waiting for tables, but always worth the wait
