Parkside Villa, Middleburg Heights OH

This was my second time here and Parkside Villa is always working miracles! The therapy staff are excellent. I worked with the therapists Abel and Susan and they exceeded my expectations. If it weren't for them, I would not be able to walk. The food here is very good too! I wish they served the Shrimp Parmesan more often. All the nurses and aids on the Woods are very compassionate about their work and are very caring. The cleaning lady did a spectacular job. Although there was a slight language barrier, I would watch her hit all the surfaces in my room and clean every spot. I would definitely recommend this place to one of my family members.

I came here for rehab after I got so weak I was not able to walk. The building is beautiful! It is very well kept up and maintained. The front desk ladies were always so kind and welcoming. My room was very spacious and I had my own room. The housekeepers came by everyday to help me tidy my room up. The nursing staff was excellent. The physical therapist worked with me every day for a few hours a day when I was there and I saw myself getting better and better. The therapy staff kept me motivated until I was able to walk again. The food here was very good! A lot better than your typical nursing home food. I would highly recommend this place to a friend.

Facilty is clean, and well kept. Resident meals are generous, and appetizing. The staff is pleasant, and helpful.

If I could rate this negative stars, I would. My mother was admitted to Parkside Villas after being discharged from the hospital. In the 24 hours she has been there, aides have refused to allow her to use the toilet and insisted she needed to use a bedpan because they couldn't lift her in the bathroom. They dropped her on her knees and fled the scene. She walked to a wheel chair for what she believed was the beginning of physical therapy and was left in the chair all day. She has stated she is a vegetarian, which was a large inconvenience upon check in. Today she was brought bacon and chicken with her meals. She is on a variety of medication, which I asked if I should bring to her. I was told they had a list of her medications and I did not need to bring them. She has not received all doses of her medication and there have been comments made to my mother about how they didn't have "that information" from the hospital. On top of this, she tells me that if a nurse is needed it takes a minimum of 20 minutes before they respond to the call for assistance.

Parkside Villa is a great place to be! I liked the food. The staff was so nice! I enjoyed the Therapy. I would choose Parkside Villa, if your looking for a place to go!

This facility has no compassion. I realize it’s a pandemic but the receptionist is rude her name is Cindy. Nurses are always passing meds when you call about updates on your family member, can’t even get a Skype appointment to talk to your family member. It’s no need to be rude to family of their sick loved one. Terrible experience no patience or compassion. I understand trying to be safe but it has shown me if I was ever to become ill this facility would never be an option. Whomever owns this business should be a shame. Having a sick loved one during this pandemic alone is bad but this place it’s nearly impossible to connect with their loved one. I guess the facility doesn’t care. It’s easy to treat people bad but when it’s your family member it is a total different feeling. I am sad my family member is ill and I have to deal with this facility is extra stress. It’s like this facility has no remorse you are caring for patients and yet it’s like a jail. Patients can’t talk to family on a regular basis 15mins for Skype but it takes days to get Skype. Someone needs to check on these facilities. Meanwhile the patient may think they have no family. So sad.

The staff has been really patient with me on my rehab stay. The facility is very clean and everyone is very friendly. The therapy has done a good job and helping me gain strength back. I've felt very comfortable during my time at Parkside Villa.

The staff at Parkside Villa has provided fabulous medical care. The staff has gone above and beyond to keep my mom comfortable. The Nurses Brenda, Jackie and Vicky have been amazing in the care they have provided, as well as the aides Tina, Danyell and Jennifer. All the staff has shown my mom wonderful care. I would highly recommend Parkside to anyone who needs rehab or long term care. They all go above and beyond.

The staff is extremely kind and patient with me while ive been getting rehab at Parkside. The therapist are consistent and thorough with me and push me enough to get a little better each day. It is truly remarkable how clean the facility is. Suzy the aide on the woods has been really amazing and she incredibly fast.

My father was here for therapy. Our family was very happy with everything Parkside has to offer. One of the most beautiful and clean places we have ever seen. The rehab and nursing staff was wonderful. They took such great care of one of the most important people in our lives, which made it a bit easier to sleep at night knowing that they cared for him as we would. I would recommend Parkside to anyone needing. My family would like to thank everyone at Parkside.

This place is great! The people are always awesome and friendly and are always there for me when I need assistance. Its nice knowing if I am not comfortable doing something by myself the staff is always eager to help me. This facility is always so clean, too. I have been to other facilities in the past and they don't even compare to Parkside Villa. I like that I am always kept busy while I'm here with therapy and the activities they have. The aides here always check on you regularly and make sure you are comfortable or need anything. The nurses are always there if you need them and they are responsive and pay attention to your progression and needs. And the food- OMG it is great, it is almost like you're at home. There has not been anything I don't like. Parkside villa is 1 big bundle of 100%, you couldn't ask for more.

I am considered a repeat offender here at Parkside, It is my second time here, I was here in 2018 last. I love the care I get. The nurses and aides are awesome and very hard working. PT and OT staff are also very good. They have made me feel very comfortable and safe here for my rehab stay. Some staff that really stood out and made me feel welcome is Frankie, Lisa, Amanda, Suzy, Lindsey, Maria, and Kevin.

I have been to Parkside villa many many times, and the one thing that keeps me coming back is the therapy. It is the best therapy ever- really ever! Kathleen in therapy is excellent and really understands how to get me where I need to be again. All the therapist really know what they are doing and end up getting me strong to go home. Every time I come here it is immaculate and clean. The nursing staff is fantastic and always make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Parkside deserves more than 5 stars from me!

Everyone was very helpful and kind to me while I was here especially the nurses and the aides. They were so kind as to wheel me to the front of the building for my doctors appointments. I have been here six times and every time the staff is very friendly. The teamwork between the staff is what has got me feeling better!

I have been to Parkside multiple times this past year and the therapists are the main reason I come back. They are tremendous and passionate about their jobs. They are all so kind and gentle. I have also found that the vast majority of the aides are very kind, understanding, and patient with the residents. I really enjoy all the activities made available to everyone everyday. Some of the girls from activities will come around and work with you one on one. They also provide a library cart. They will come around to the room and you can pick a book to read. I have read 5 books since being here so far, which is a nice added extra for when I don't want to watch TV. I also love that you can bring your pets here. It makes me very happy when my dog can come visit me. That in itself is a good medicine.

My dad was here at Parkside Villa a few years ago and he made a comment when he was here that he considered the staff at the facility family, so when my doctor recommended Parkside to me I was thrilled to be coming here, just from my experience with my dad. Every staff member has been kind, patient, and would bend over backwards for me. The nurses, aides and even activities staff has given me little pep talks about my progress. I must say, whoever is training the staff on how to properly approach the patients, with kindness and patience, is doing a great job. Lastly, the therapists here are all awesome. It is amazing at what they teach you and how they praise you for all progress made. Heather and Carolyn are who I have primarily worked with here, and they both have been able to teach me so much and make progress with how far I have come. I'm truly amazed at how good the therapy department has been. I am very happy with how things are going for me at Parkside Villa.

I have received very fine service here. The staff always treat me well and are very helpful to me. I have enjoyed the company of all the staff. The food is very good. This past week I have enjoyed every meal. The therapy and the transporters are all great and friendly and has assisted with my great rehab experience at Parkside.

The facility is very nice, and clean. The majority of the staff I have encountered has been very friendly and nice to me. The help is good and I can see progress in my stay. Therapy especially has tried really hard to get me better.

Physically Parkside Villa is a lovely facility. It is in a nice setting next to the Metroparks. The single rooms are nice with good clean bathrooms attached and an excellent rehab facility. Most of the employees are responsive to my call light, lovely and friendly. The activities are also fun and a good way to get to know other residents.
