The rooms were beautiful and clean, Beds were one of the most comfortable I've slept n a very long time for a hotel. Would recommend to friends

Beautiful place came down to see vice president Pence with the family, secret service treated us well helped us get a ride up in the elevator with the Secret Service took us up to the ballroom. Only the dignitaries were allowed in the elevator so that was special for us

Attended two day conference at Renaissance. Easy transportation from airport, comfortable rooms, nice facility. Breakfast buffet supplied with conference was excellent.

DO NOT USE FOR EVENTS OR WEDDINGS!

SKIP THIS ONE IF YOU HAVE STATUS OR WANT SERVICE!

I don’t typically bother to leave poor reviews, however the consistent standard of mediocrity here was notable. If I was here for pleasure (instead of work) I would have made a scene.

The actual hotel room and property is fine.

However, they are HORRIBLE in guest relations. I heard on no less than 3 occasions that a “policy had changed” or “something could not be honored”. The word “unfortunately” was used so many times during my stay that we were wondering what we should expect from a hotel.

Example: I locked myself out of my room (definitely my fault). I stay at hotels often, and exclusively Marriott brand hotels, so I can recite all of my account information. The ridiculous process it took to get another key after explaining my entire purse was in my room was enough to make me leave for another hotel (if they weren’t all sold out).

How does one make a lock out into an ordeal? ! If you need anything from the front desk, you will see.

This hotel is much too expensive to have anything less than good service. I would suggest looking into your options. And no- calling ahead here DOES NOT help.

Not happy with the service at all. I checked in at 5: 30pm for a 6pm meeting and my room was not ready. I was told to change in the locker room on the 4th floor. The attendant at the front desk was also rather nonchalant about my displeasure. I could understand my room not being ready if I checked in between 1-3, but I was not offered an upgrade for my troubles. At the meeting, we were given desserts and I was not happy with mine. I asked to exchange it, which I was told there were none left of the second option. 10 minutes later the second option was given out. It was just an overall frustrating experience. I'm booked through tomorrow, but I am checking out early and taking my business elsewhere. Incredibly disappointed in my experience.

The room is clean, we're on the 6th floor. Halls, lobby, entrance are all clean and up to date. The restaurant down in the lobby has excellent food for a decent price. I love that I can order the food from the room and have it delivered for only $5 extra or go get it free (here for origins, walking hurts anymore lol $5 is definitely worth it). The room itself is spacious, though the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. There is no actual door to it, only a slider, which does nothing to muffle noise T. T Also you have to pay extra for internet, who does that? ! There is a fridge in the room, which is very nice, as well as a safe. Cleaning crew do an amazing job (we've been here a little while now) keeping clean towels and a made bed. The walk to the convention center is manageable, and there are a few places to eat nearby. The people are very helpful, as well.

Front desk staff were not very friendly and did not offer any information about Valet, Wi-Fi or general information about the hotel. I had to go inside and ask about valet parking. No one from valet services approached us when we pulled up. The morning of checkout, housekeeping knocked and walked right into my room as I was getting dressed. I will say that questions were answered when asked and I did receive extra towels when asked. I love Marriott hotels, but would I go back to that hotel again? The answer would be no.
