Schiller Park reviews
32We go here to play Pokemon Go sometimes, and it's a very fun park! Plenty of area to hang out and easily accessible to plenty of restaurants.
Great place to take a walk, bring your dog and enjoy the pond and beautiful landscaping. There is also a play area for small children and a rec center.
Took my kids fishing here and it was absolutely beautiful environment clean they had a blast fishing due to them keeping there one stocked with bluegill. My kids literally got bus from the fish every few seconds from casting there poles in the water great job for keeping this idea a great place for families to enjoy
Beautiful spot in German Village. There was a lot of garbage in the park though. And the playground could use some more shade and places for adults to sit. But otherwise a wonderfully lovely place to play and see the ducks.
Ahhh the memories. Took my granddaughter to see where I played growing up in German Village. Very nice upgrades and play grounds.
A beautiful tiny park that has nice walking paths around the perimeter and dissecting through the middle of the park horizontally and vertically. There's a beautiful pond and a couple of statues. There's tennis courts and basketball courts. There's a community center in the bottom right with bathrooms and plentiful parking - as well as street parking around the outside of the park. Amazing for Pokemon Go - it's not quite big enough to do laps every 30 minutes for spawns, but the plentiful stops means you will gain items.
I love that the play area is partially fenced, helps me keep an eye on my little ones. Plenty of baby swings as well (I think 6 or 8.) Great hill for rolling down, plenty of open green space, beautiful duck pond, etc.
Beautiful outdoor park with bridge. Plenty of tables and bridges. The pond looks pretty with all the ducks and geese. Two geese are mean though so beware of them when you come here because they will chase you like they did to me and my bf
Schiller is a great city park. A walking trail goes all the way around the outer edge and they're is a walking bridge over the pond. The outdoor theater is a treat in the summertime. There are basketball courts along Jager Street along with a large playground for kids.
Awsome day with family and Pokeman go event day. Even though rec center was closed. The bathrooms at local gas stations were to rescue
I grew up in the park. Spent my teens and early 20s there. I do go back occasionally and take walks through. And watch the children play. Lots of good memories there
One of Columbus' top three historic neighborhood parks along with Goodale Park and Franklin Park. An oasis just minutes from downtown and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in German Village.
Very nice park! Loved the way it looked and there is so much to do. They have a tennis court, a playground are just for the kids, and they have a recreation center for sports etc.
Pretty park. Outdoor theatre space is beautiful. Too bad teens we're eating and tossing their litter about.
Absolutely loved it there. I had a great time with some of the plays that were happening and if it was too hot I could always go inside the rec center and cool off.
Great park! Lots of walking paths. Dog friendly, but not fenced (leash only). There's a good amount of parking. The back story for the statue location is a bit sad since it's where they burned German books during the war, but otherwise nice park.
Very busy, friendly crowd, large and small playgrounds side by side, nice hill for sledding if there is snow. The kids lived it. Ages 10,9,7,4 & 2!
This city park is one fine area the beautiful homes around the park and summer weekend full of sitting watching live theatre by donation which all families should take their children to experience!
Beautiful filled with energetic people. Great for a walk or a run, or just for enjoying the great outdoors for an afternoon.
