Sharon Woods Metro Park reviews
36Excellent metro park. A sizable lake to hike around where you can see a variety of waterfowl. Large open spaces to enjoy. There are also trails to hike into the woodlands where it is nice, quiet and photogenic. I've also seen several large Wild Turkeys along the trails in the park. I never have had an issue when someone suggests I go to this park.
Numerous paths let you tailor your walk/workout to virtually any length. All paths are well maintained and most paved.
Nice multi purpose trails. Many segments are shaded. Patrols are frequently seen to assure safety. Gates are closed at night. Clean. An artificial lake is used fir canoeing and fishing. Well maintained.
I liked the glamorous view of the lake and that it's a park for kids to play too. But I didn't like the part of the muddy grass, there should be more walking pavements, and the part of animals' poop.
Got a bit buggy tonight, saw workers spraying as sundown hit.
Great way to be with nature while in northern Columbus.
Year-round beauty from hikes in spring summer and fall to sledding in the winter it’s family fun and activities all your round
It's a great place for relaxing and enjoying nature and the trails.a break from hustle and bustle of the day.
Favorite place to walk. Full 4 mile circle of wooded area. You can go off the main paved trail into more wooded and wildlife areas.
I love this park. The trails are extensive enough that I had begun to be concerned that they wouldn't loop back and that I would need to backtrack in order to get back to where I started. Plenty of parking and pavilions for gatherings. Clean and well maintained.
The hills I rate as misery and agony but I love it because the whole trail that I walk is paved and 4 miles is just enough to push me
Lovely park with lots of trails for hiking and biking. A jewel in the city. Visit the forest without leaving town!
One of my favorite parks to walk with my son in a stroller. Well kept paths and very flat. The water is cool too as you can catch and release and great facilities for picnics and parties.
This is a very accessible park between Columbus and Westerville. It has a small lake, several pavilions, and plenty of space for kids to play.
Great park very clean. Has a great walking & Bike trail. Maintained very well.
My Family enjoyed it for many years till everyone grew up
I still do now & then. Great fishing too.
I absolutely love this place. It's so close to the house, and it's so relaxing. Also some really good playgrounds and really really nice picnic areas for birthday parties or just chilling out with the family.
Nice clean park with several playgrounds, hiking trails, a lake for fishing, public bathrooms, and shelters with grills. The kids had a great time!
