Steak 'n Shake, Mansfield OH

The food here is always good although it takes a while to make. I think those two things might be related because there's never, ever anyone here when I'm here. I honestly have no idea how this place stays in business. But I am not complaining.

Great food as always, but only drive thru service available. Service was really slow. I was willing to wait because I love S&S so much.

Food was not presented the way it should have been and definitely was nasty fries were cold and hard.will not be going back

They only have one employee? What is up with that? Insane long waits. Don’t bother stopping here.

DRIVE THROUGH ONLY. WRONG ORDER, FOOD COLD. Poor kids were clueless. Usually good food, good service. Hopefully just a bad day.

Great food but service was atrocious. I was seated by a young lady who was playing on her phone the entire time. She didn't make eye contact or even say hello.

Good milkshakes, hamburgers are whimpy, service was shady, as soon as we sat down our waitress kept talking about how she got off work in 20 min. Never came back to check before our meal came out then only came back with the check after that. Just kinda felt rushed the whole time.

Walked into the steak and shake in Mansfield, party of 12. Every staff member looked at us, turned their head, never acknowledged us. We waited about 10 minutes, walked out to go somewhere else.

The interior of this place was disgusting and the food was gross. Normally they're average but this last visit was just gross. Slow service, food wasn't good, interior was dirty. I was served a plate with a nice nasty greasy mayo or something similar finger print on the rim. Looked like someone put their finger in mayo and then stuck it on my plate! We won't be back due to the lack of cleanliness inside.

Slow on the drive through. Two cars ahead left the line because of the wait. Everyone seemed to be on break.

The service which usually stinks was a little better. The food was mediocre at best. The hotel working the drive thru was quite pleasant though.

First time I've eaten at a Steak n Shake and I must say it was amazing! One waitress had a slight attitude but I didn't let it ruin my experience. Definitely will be back!

Food was good. But we waited forever for our take out order. Other people had a similar experience with the drive through (half hour wait, in the drive through.) We were missing a few items from our order, but they did fix it quickly.

My first time here and Horrible horrible just horrible.the wait to sit was almost 10 mins and there is hardly anyone here. My food was cold and Burnt after waiting for almost an hour for 2 people! They are extremely understaffed
Ive been watching people stand for about 15 mins waiting to pay their bill. At one point there was no one at the register

Service was a bit slow, but the food was expected and the staff was friendly enough. Restrooms were in need of attention and the staff seemed unconcerned about it when it was brought to their attention by a fellow patron.

Terrible service. You wait forever for everything. I only get take out. Food is good at cheap price.

When we arrived we waited over ten minutes to be seated. 4 or 5 waitresses were there no one said we will be with you, we were just ignored till we asked if anyone was seating people. Took about 15 minutes to place order. 1 hour and 10 minutes later we received our food. It was so cold we were miserable.

Always a super long wait to get seated, even a longer wait to get served, and not nearly enough staff on hand, ever. Good food, terrible service. And last visit, “they didn’t have a person to make milkshakes at the time. ”

Still waiting on one shake 20 minutes later. Just watched a waitress go into the kitchen to cook fill her customers orders. Wow.
