Steak 'n Shake, Mansfield OH

Love steak and shake, I found out service, it is based on location. Some are better than others, cleaner too.

Pretty good food open 24-7. Sometimes you have to wait when they are short staffed. People always act friendly.

Good food worst service of any where I have ever been. This is on their afternoon shift. Will not go back.

Got there when place was half full. Manager was flipping burgers. People beside us told the waitress they were giving them one more minute before they were walking out because they waited for food for so long. Thought it was funny at first but ours took about 45 minutes too. Waitresses have no idea what's going on and this place needs serious help.

My husband and I ordered on the app. My husband just went in to get our food. He waited 25 mins after our pick up time for our food. And then they didn't even give us our drinks. He said something and waited another 5 mins without getting our drinks. He eventually left. This was at the Mansfield Ohio location. Completely unacceptable. We will never go back to this location. The food was old and cold. We drove 40 mins because we don't have one close.

I walked out the previous 2 times due to waiting over 30 minutes before even getting my drinks.this time they were on it, inexpensive solid food. If they get the staffing scheduled fixed I would recommend it, if you see it's slow go elsewhere.

Horrible service. We placed an online order and went inside to pick it up. When we told the lady we had an online order she yelled online order! And walked away. 10 min later we asked for an update and she looked around, found our food and said it was already ready. Gee, thanks! I don't know what it is about this exit but the service is terrible at every restaurant. I would avoid it if at all possible.

Food excellent. Service superb. Floors sticky. Walls and fixtures, and bathrooms could be cleaner.

My best friends grilled cheese was soggy and undercooked. My burger was good but employee could not hear me at all so had to scream my order

Sat and waited for 10 mins at the counter and was not even acknowledged by the staff there. One waitress told another waitress to help us and she responded, “I’ve got 4 parties I’m trying to take care of”. On that note we walked out.

Razor thin burgers and had to wait 30 minutes for the worst burgers I have ever had in my life. Tasteless. Elementary School cafeteria serves better burgers with a ketchup packet. Never eating there again. No steaks to be seen. #sad

The food was tastey but we waited over an hour and a half before our food was on the table. An unacceptable wait time.
