Steak 'n Shake, Fairborn OH

I love steak & shake didn't so much love that the sweet tea tastes like it was made with hose water

We like the food, but it always takes forever to even be acknowledged once you walk in the door, same when it's time to cash out, nobody is around. Employees will look at you and just not acknowledge you what so ever. The food is usually fine but seriously, hire more employees and run it with better customer service!

Poor management. About 30 people were waiting to be seated or pay even though there were at least a dozen empty tables and sever to be cleaned. It was Christmas day and they should have had more waiters at at least 2 bus people. Service was slow too as a result. Next holiday plan better.

The worst.food was cold. The service was so bad my burger had nothing on it ask for everything on it.don't know how they stay open

I wish I could give them 0 stars! We have ate at this location for years and it used to be great customer service, not so much now. The past couple times there have been several clean tables cleaned and ready to go, multiple employees just walk by without acknowledging us, 20 minute wait to be seated is a bit much. What is worse is when we placed an order for pick up and it's not ready until 45 minutes after the time it said it was supposed to be ready. Not only that but when we got home, the food was wrong. I call in and speak with the manager, her name is "Bobbie" and told her my concerns. She had such an attitue and told me my food was not wrong because she assembled it herself, as if she never makes mistakes. She offered to replace the food as if I wanted to wait another almost hour, no thanks! Won't be visiting this location anymore! Horrible customer service, horrible attitudes!

Yikes i ordered a drink at 12: 30 am waited 20 mins in the drive thru and got a drink with holes in the cups.got everywhere.

The last 2 times I have been here, the wait time to check out was HORRIBLE! The service was not that great either. We had to ask for refills and our server only came back to check on us one time after delivering our food.

Design of entrance where the cashier is and waiting to be seated next to games is a poor design. Everyone was mashed up. The place is understaffed affecting seating and prompt service. The popularity of ice cream and kids causes smears of unknown stuff to be on walls, windows, menus etc. The staff do their best to keep up clearing/cleaning tables, seat you and take orders as well as seat incoming folks. The food is tasty.

Food was fine, but the wait and cleanliness of the location need A LOT of improvements. Several tables left uncleaned. Food and plates left from past customers everywhere (literally 9 tables worth) for well over an hour. A few tables were filthy when we got there and stayed that way as we left. Floor even caked with food in some places. I get it this isn't fine-dining, but there should be some standards here

It was 3: 17am on a Thursday morning. It took 8 minutes at the drive thru intercom so I went inside. Took another 23 minutes of no employee greeting me at all before I left. I will post my video experience shortly, but I could not believe how neglected I felt for a Steak n Shake atmosphere. Let alone a restaurant atmosphere period. Beavercreek Steak and Shake was neglective unsanitary during my visit at this time.

Order was missing Childrens Corn dogs, Coleslaw & Cookie and Fries were cold. Called store and management said to drive 20mins back to store for forgotten items and refused to make order fresh for their screw-up. I'm not driving 40min round-trip plus wait 7mins for Corn dogs while the burgers get cold. Now I know why it's been 13yrs since I ate at Steak-n-Shake. It will be at least another 13yrs before they get a dime from me

We waited in the drive thru over 30 min. Almost just left because it was just ridiculous. Service was very slow.

Food is good but the service is terribly slow. We ordered 2 shakes and waited 15 minutes, for 2 shakes! No one working there was in a hurry or busy. The staff was friendly and courteous but I would hate to imagine what their average order times are. Note: it actually ended up taking 25 minutes to finally get the shakes.

Took forever my stuff was cold. They were too busy playing around rather than working. Mine order is always cold! Just not up to par! Sad!

This is a fast serving place until they get busy. Great staff ajd great community. You'll wajt to come here and eat.

I enjoy shakes here, specially the oreo cookies and cream shake. Always like to be here during happy hours.

HORRIBLE- went inside and they just ignored us for at least 10 minutes- when we dared to ask to be seated (as there was no one else waiting and staff just milling around) they said in a minute and continued ignoring us. Walked out and will never go back. Management really needs to get their act together

Usually like their food. The snack pack for 2.89 is the best deal around. In the drive thru, waited 20min at least, it seemed my food was waiting too.cold. Didn't have time to let them know.

I've been waiting with my J. Girl here for 5 minutes and the stressed out guy told me they are backed up and it could take another 5 minutes. We're so hungry we need help! It's a life-death situation. We might make a baby until we get fed here.

I only purchased one dark chocolate Hershey shake via drive through and I waited for at least half an hour to get my order.
