Best place to go in Ox to get a liter of beer with friends. Plus the best pretzels around, can't pass those up!

Great authentic German food, I love the environment down there always have, also been coming here for years hopefully won't stop!

Going downstairs and entering into a wonderfully decorated restaurant was so much fun. Authentic German food along with a great selection of beer. We were lucky enough to still be eligible for the brunch menu. The service was great. We will definitely stop again.

Found myself in town for a training seminar over the weekend. This popped up as a suggestion and man am I glad it did. Pictured is the CurryWurst and fries and an order of potato pancakes. Add a side of curry for the fries and skip the ketchup Not pictured is their house beer Jahrhundert which was quite tasty. Tucked away downstairs, and jam packed. Great food and amazing staff.

It was my favorite restaurant while I was at Miami and my favorite restaurant in which to dine when I go back. I love that you have to go down steps to enter the restaurant. I love that there’s a huge map of the metro in Berlin. I love the ambiance and the wooden booths. I have never had bad food here. I usually get the excellent Reuben sandwich. I have also gotten the sauerkraut balls, the pretzel, and the potato pancakes. Go when in Oxford.

Best Bratwurst I've had since Munich. Legitimately imported beer and a lively environment. Great place.

This place is about as authentic as it gets for a small town restaurant. Really good food and an excellent selection of German beers.

Great beer! Sausages were all excellent, and so were the sides! The kase spaetzle with chicken was a little "Americanized", but still very tasty!

German-themed restaurant/bar. Menu is partially in German, but food descriptions are English, so don't worry. Quickly sat and served. Beers come in 1/2 liter and liter sizes. Food was tasty, hot, and prepared as you'd expect for Americanized German food. Will definitely go back to try more menu items and daily specials!

I was there over the weekend. Looking forward to a great family dinner. We looked at the menu was very excited about the options. Unfortunately they don't have an accessible entrance for wheelchairs. So me and my family had to go elsewhere. If you're not going to have an accessible restaurant you should note that on the front page of your website.

Their salad was amazing and brought a smile to my friend's face! They also have great schnitzels. You shall get a choice of salad (price included in your choice of main course). The salads are fresh and very well made. The staffs are friendly. They also have daily specials, which makes this restaurant a good place to visit throughout the week.

Food is ok. Seemed like a person would rather go here for a beer after a bike ride. More people drinking than eating. Salad was tiny. I laughed when I saw it. Tasted good though. Not really worth the money but ok place to try once. Definitely not the most authentic tasting German food. Server was quick and very nice about food suggestions.

I have been to steinkeller many times! I have always been impressed by their food and beer. Recently, we went for brunch and the food was surprisingly so good! I highly recommend brunch!

Its hard to find authentic german food and atmosphere but this place nailed it! The food was excellent, beer in litre steins and a large selection as well.

Amazing atmosphere, phenomenal food, and fantastic german beer selection. You feel like your walking into beerfest when coming here. Diamond in the rough for sure.
