They go to great lengths to make Stonespring great again. From the top all the way to the bottom.

Don't let the new exterior and semi-clean hallways fool you. You and your loved ones will be FRUSTRATED at Stonespring. This place is.way too big and way too understaffed. Expect long waits for simple tasks like going to the bathroom or asking for a drink of water. There are good people who work here. But they're mostly very stressed and overworked. And the lack of communication between the administration and patient/family is very unsettling. During most of your stay, you will be left in a downward spiral of anxiety and uncertainty - getting almost no answers to your questions unless you spend the day hunting down the staff, who will give mealy-mouthed explanations about medications, the patient's care plan, insurance, etc. My grandmother stayed here for about a month. And it was such a relief when she was finally strong enough to leave Stonespring. I encourage anyone seeking a nursing home or rehab center for their loved ones to go somewhere else.

I have only had encounters with the day shifts, but the care is good. The staff from physical therapy is GREAT. My uncle complained of one person in early a.m. Of being grumpy. He told her to not be that way! I worked in a hospital 41 years; and I see a lot of positive things happening here, sure it can be better, but it is not bad by a far cry. If you see something Say something. They get on it; and upper staff does not know if you do not tell them! God Bless you all for what you are doing!

Will not go back to work here. Some co workers talk abusive to residents especially on second shift. Some get physical abused. They don't care about anyone they care about moneu. So I moved for a better job and quit this one.
