The Watering Hole Safari and Waterpark (Monsoon Lagoon) reviews
35This place was Awesome, my grandkids just Loved it, there Zoo and drive through Safari is incredible. The waterpark and slides with go carts and mini golf, it's a Full day forsure.
I'm from Texas, thought I'd check it out, just the gift shop, pretty over priced. 25$ for a tshirt.
We had a blast here! We took our son for his birthday! He loved all of the different things to do and see! Putt putt is his favorite!
Honestly it was a good time but the guy behind the counter price gouged us. He told us it was $25 per adult for the ride, zoo, and putt-putt (apparently the same price with or without putt-putt) and we later seen it was $20 as posted on the board behind him. He charged us $15 for 1 bucket of feed (small bucket of vegetables and hay) when it was $15 for two. They then closed up shop without us even being able to play Putt-Putt. Based on other reviews he regularly does this to people.
The zoo was fine for my toddler, if you're wanting to go through a drive thru go to the African Safari it's bigger with more animals and less expensive.
Love going to monsoon lagoon for the day. Plenty to do with the kids. Can not use groupon day of purchase.
Love love love had a nice relaxing time with my family pay for it off Groupon if you want a well worth experience not worth seller price due yo so many things not running long wait in line for everything except water but I had a blast.
The live in entertainment was horrible and the go-karts had a extremely long line all the time not very much swimming areas either
Took my daughter and 2 of her friends for the day and everyone had a blast! The mega ticket is worth every penny, unlimited EVERYTHING! Will definately be back next summer. Just a heads up: fast food places are only a few minutes away or pack a lunch.
Had a great time with the family here, mini golf, zoo, go-karting and water parks. Awesome, will be back!
It was kind of small to travel from Toledo for
. I'd rather just drive the extra 20-30 minutes from there to cedar point shores.
Fun for the whole family! Pools weren't heated, overall could use an update but still tons of fun for hot summer days. Groupon for the win!
You get what you pay for. 16 bones is not bad for what they offer. Much better price than those inside waterparks. Have low expectations and you will be pleasantly impressed. The kids enjoyed the go carts the best.
Lots of fun options for kids. Pricing is good. Hands on zoo experience. Everything is a little run down. There is no where to change privately in the bathrooms and the staff could be friendlier.
Awful expensive. To make it remotely worth the cost, you'd have to stay open until close! They do offer quite a bit. Petting zoo, putt putt, water park, lazy river, etc.
Worth the money the kids have fun and adults an relax and enjoy themselves as well! We will try to go at least once a year now when we are up that way.
Prices are HIGH and you can't use Groupons on the day you buy them, so plan ahead. Food is outrageously expensive and the food workers are sloooow, so pack a lunch to picnic in the parking lot, or go out to lunch (no outside food or beverages, even bottle water allowed). Fun for kids, swim up bar for adults, we loved the zoo part
Every thing was satisfying with the exception that everything must be made of gold.if youre only wanting to swim i guess its appropriate but if you want to do anything else you better bring a big wallet.id say with our group 8 people total 500 bucks easily.
The park was okay. Staff was rather rude and unhelpful when asked a question. Overpriced food, but it is a captive market. There are only two water slides. The park seems geared towards kids 10 and under. Okay for adults with kids, but I wouldn't recommend it for childless adults.
