Villages at Symmes Crossing reviews
24It's not the best place to live. They never refunded my deposit when the apartment was clean. Maintenance took forever to fix anything. I had a tile that broke in the master bath and it took them nine months to fix it. One positive is that it's close to the highway ramp.
Run away from this place. Worst experience, maintenance never on time.
And they charge all kinds of fees. Stay away just not worth time and money.ooh yeah utilities are the most expensive in the area. Water sewage trash electric too high. I would give it negative rating
Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend anyone to rent there for many reasons:
The rent is high for the provided service, old A/C units that brings your electric bill to around $240 a month, the pool is always dirty and nobody cleans it at a regular bases with a closed restroom which encourage to waste the pool and make it unhealthy environment. Also, the management team were not collaborating with the residence, my fridge was leaking water from inside for a whole year and they never got this issue resolved.the tennis court is in a very bad conditions with a damage lighting poles.when you decide to move out they hit you with a lot of fees even though you don't violate the lease period. I was trying to reach the manager there for a whole week to discuss with them those fees and everytime I called they get my number and tell me that somebody will call me back and still never got that call.
The only reason I lived there for two years is that I was looking for a house to buy. I respected the conditions of the lease contract and returned the apartment on the scheduled timing. But I got hit with $700 fees including my $300 deposit. So I wouldn't recommend anybody to rent from there because you can find a better places with better customer service anywhere else.
Terrible experience! I lived there for 12 months. Maintenance was really bad, it took them forever to respond back to any calls or concerns. The office staff was very rude you will see the smiley faces before you sign the lease after that they will not get back to you no matter what you need. Also you will be surprised with ridiculous amount charge for moving out. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!
Came up from another state. The pictures on website did not represent the actual area. Had people looking into our car and the door of the building was all banged up as well the apartment smelled really bad. We never moved in but they wanted us to pay over 3k to cancel the lease and not refund the deposits. Plan on contacting a lawyer as well better business bureau. Do not rent here.
This place has my friend and her family including 4 children under 4 living in unacceptable living conditions that’s making them sick. YALL NEED TO HELP THEM!
Have heard that my blinds “will be here in a few days” for two months now. Maintenance service will leave stuff outside of your apartment for you to install. This place is ridiculous.
Do not move here! They are forcing a young family with small children to live in unhealthy conditions. They’ve refused to fix anything for the family. Their tenants are not a priority. Save your money and run!
Horrible apartments. Notice they do not comment on their bad reviews, that means they won't help when you have issues in your apartment!
They do not treat their tenants well. Literally won’t fix issues that affect the health of those who live here. For example, if you have mold or water damage - they won’t fix it. Seriously just don’t live here. It’s horrible!
Monarch Investment and Management Group has the worst customer service in property management that I have ever experienced. Look at Village Green or NAP communities in NKY or Cincinnati before you apply at a Monarch community in the Cinci-metro area.
HORRIBLE! Do NOT LIVE HERE! Management won’t return phone calls! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Won’t fix these issues that are causing children to be SICK!
Maintenance service 0. I have a problem with cooling system in my apartment for 10 days. I made a request to them 3 times.then they called me and said "open the window warmly on the outside, since they are not going to fix it yet".
Just pay extra 200 dollars and move in somewhere else. Staff is very rude; trash always overflowing just around garbage. People don't clean up dog waste. Knew that I would need to break lease after 2 weeks here. DO NOT be fooled by pictures and show apartments; the residents are not bad.
Service very badly does not hear you only want to take the money here to eat this cockroaches everything is together with the bad works There they do not hear you at all I do not advise here I also want to quickly get away from this apartment
Villages at Symmes Crossing apartments are move in ready and clean! I love the fireplace and dishwasher. The staff is very helpful with any issues or questions that you may have; Tanya was very flexible with me since my lease had to be changed to a 6 month agreement. The buildings are kept up very well, when there was a fire alarm beeping they came out and changed the batteries right away. The community is wonderful, with a lot of families and people out walking their dogs and letting their kids play outside. The only down side I have found is that I can hear the neighbors below me opening and closing doors on occasion. Overall Villages at Symmes Crossing has been a great place to live!
I just renewed my lease with LaQueita. She is so wonderful she put all my work request in for me and made sure they are completed. Work order take up to 2 weeks to get done but office staff follow up and make sure sure to know that you were not missed. I appreciate ms. Roberts so much. This place was a wrack before she got here. I read some of the other reviews about the children, and this community seems to pay more attention then most think. They have sent out flyer and emails bout noise policy and unattended childern. They also have adopted new policy with the fitness center and pool. This was the best summer I have had The Villages at Symmes. Thank you LaQueita!
I signed a short term lease and she asked me to do a review. I still feel the same 8 month later. Thank you Symmes crossing.
Too bad you can't give a place no stars to write a review.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!
They are the worst apartment complex ever. They do not care about their tenants at all. The apartments are completely filthy and then they charge you at the end for their mistake. The outlets don't work. There are burn marks in the vinyl. Water leaks under the sink, paint all over the carpet, broken tile, sliding glass door doesn't even open, windows don't even open, place smells like mold, terrible customer service, and the list continues. There is NOT ONE thing decent about this apartment complex. STAY AWAY! They do not care at all. You will not get your deposit back at the end of the month. We made sure that the carpets were spotless, the floors were clean, and quite frankly that apartment looked 20 thousand times better than when moving in. Worst experience. Monarch has no business owning this apartment complex and the workers there have no business working there as well. NOBODY knows what CUSTOMER SERVICE is. Do not make the same mistake and move in the apartment complex, you will highly regret it! It is better to live in your car for a month or two until you can find another place than it is in this place! WAY OVERPRICED! #MonarchInvestments #Villagesofsymmescrossing #terriblecustomerservice #masonohio #cincinnatiohio #apartmentcomplex #apartmentliving #aprartmentsinohio #Ohio #worstexperience #overpriced #stayaway #donotmovehere #liars
Such disappointing customer service. I have never lived at an apartment complex that makes it so incredibly difficult to simply pay rent. After half a year without issue I changed my bank information and long story short, my rent was late for the first time. This was apparently so unforgiving that I was no longer allowed to pay with my checking account and had the option of paying with a money order, spifically not a cashiers check, or paying an addition 30$ fee to pay with a credit card, on top of all the fees I incured for being late. A few months went by, I knew at this point I would not be renewing my lease so I put up with it, I handed in my money order and I received a letter saying they do not accept money orders, just cashier checks. Even though I had been handing in money orders this entire time. I have officially had my last straw with this company. And I'm not evening including the countless other property issues, poor maintenance upkeep, multiple car break ins, and sketchy loiters in the parking lot I've had to deal with. Would not recommend this property unless you are painfully desperate.
This company has very bad service, people who work in the office, there not nice to people, they do the services very late, Tanya Rivera always lies don’t trust her she’s lies and lies. Who ever is gonna come to this company, be careful because they are liars.
Also assistant property manager Laqueita L. Roberts is very rude, never get an apartment from here, she likes to cream at people.
