We moved in a month ago and everything has been very smooth. We are very happy with our apartment! New carpets, freshly painted, smelled and looked great. Anna has been very helpful with any questions I have!

They are a 2.5-3. They aren’t the best or worst. It’s meh. The units are livable.
The 5star reviews are drowning out the real reviews. Make sure you walk your unit. When I saw mine it reeked of urine and the lady told me that there was nothing they could do about it and they didn’t have any other units available. So I had to spend my own time and money trying to mask the smell. I’m not too sure if the smell has gone away or if I have gone nose blind. The units are old and you’ll see the basic countertops from the 80s-90s. I was told if I wanted a newer stove or anything that was insanely outdated replaced it would cost an additional $30 per appliance. There aren’t ceiling fans or lights in the bedrooms so bring your own lamps. Lighting outside it awful. It’s so dark at night. It makes you feel unsafe. Again I was told that they were in the process of increasing lighting and they haven’t. I’ve had to spend my own money on motion lights. Make sure you get your own insurance that covers you for hotel and or relocation expenses if your unit catches fire. The only thing VOWW offers for additional coverage is “Jewelry theft, pet damage, water damage, identity recovery”.
They have new fees now. You will be charged for cable and WiFi regardless if you want it or not and are expected to pay for the installation costs. They fail to mention that. There’s also a new $25 Amenity fee in the middle of a pandemic. Just imagine how much they are pocketing from all the units combined. Blows my mind. Their gym is less than. Cheap equipment and mixed matched or missing weights and an old bow flex. They put a social exercising sign on one of the treadmills but we know it’s broken. I’d rather go to planet fitness and spend an additional $23. They say the fee is for the walking trails, pond, pub tennis courts etc.but Why charge a fee now? Can they not afford the upkeep anymore? Past couple times it has snowed there was no salt or plow. A car hit a rock this morning because of it and got stuck. Maintenance isn’t too bad. If I’ve needed them they have been there within the week. That’s a positive. Over all It’s a meh. Not a terrible place but not the best. There were damages in my unit from the past tenant and I hope I’m not charged for. They claimed to have documented. I’ve heard how hard it is to get your deposit back. They require a 60 day notice if you plan to not resign your lease. Not a bad first place.

This is literally the worst place to live. When I first moved here there were insects in my refrigerator and it took 7 months for them to replace my refrigerator. The maintenance takes way to long to fix things! The staff are very rude they do nothing to help! Now our hot water has being going cold on and off for a week or two now this is the third time it has gone cold and it’s been cold for three days we tried to contact them and they told us to stop calling! And if you have children don’t move here there were at least 2 shoot outs in the past year some one also drove their car into a unit a couple doors down from me.and some one also drove their car into the pond near me. Not a safe place at all and definitely not luxury!

Buying a house after living here. Both my AC and heater did not work when I moved in. They eventually got fixed a few months into my living here. The apartment also has wiring problems. My toaster will trip the kitchen, and the dryer will trip all the time. I've submitted a number of repair requests. Some are addressed, most are ignored. It is disheartening as I always pay my rent on time and I have not gotten what I was supposed to as a renter.

I would not reccoemend staying here to anyone. They take forever to fix your issues, if they even fix them. You can hear everything through the walls. The grounds here are incredibly unkept as well, there was old food, trash, and dog poop all over the place. They seem to not really care about anything but money.

I have recently moved into my two bedroom apartment and I must say it is very cozy an the experience I had with management was excellent. Stephanie is great, very pleasant and made me feel welcomed.

Recently move from Olde Gate, had a very informative and pleasant experience with maintenance staff namely (Kyle), he was very professional and made me feel at ease as a result I will recommend Village of Wildwood to anyone looking for a place live.

I viewed the property and I must say it was phenomenal! My fiancé and I were looking for places in the Fairfield area and this one takes the cake! This is one of the few properties where I know my needs will be met!

Haven't moved in yet, but I can say that the application process and help I have gotten from the staff has been exceptional. This is my first apartment and I have felt comfortable throughout the whole process and have had my million and one questions answered in a timely and kind manner. I look forward to continue a good relationship with the staff and owners.

The worst apartment complex in fairfield. Poor management and bad service. I moved out 3 months ago they sent me a letter saying im going to receive my deposit still haven’t received my deposit. Everytime you call them you hear a different story. Always paid my rent on time when my new landlord contacted them to get the rent history they told him that im always late (bunch of liers) for an advice people stay away from them.

I can't believe this. I just had a conversation with Kristan. She is useless. Sunday %/13, DJ was to put a work order in to have my A/C fixed. He promised someone would be there on Monday to "fix the blower motor" Guess what? No show by the A/c people, No work order put in and since there was no work order I have to wait my turn. I have just renewed my lease and boy! Am I sorry! I have lived here fcr 6 years and there have been other problems but this takes the cake!

I was hesitant to move in after reading all the reviews, but after viewing the apartment and all the amenities, I decided to take a chance. I couldn't find another apartment that offers the amount of space I have for the price. I have a huge 2 bedroom townhouse that has a finished basement with a patio area off of it which faces the lake. It's very peaceful to set out on my patio and watch the geese on the lake. I haven't fished yet but have seen others out fishing. My kitchen is nice size and I have a separate dining area. There is plenty of closet space, nice size bedrooms, and my apartment is in pretty decent shape considering the age. The apartments are older and not renovated, but overall not bad. I have black appliances and new carpet. My walls are painted a tan color which I would rather have than the normal apartment white. I have only had to call maintenance once since I moved in last fall. My garbage disposal stopped working and was making grinding noises. It was replaced the next morning after I called. I have had no issues with the office staff. Everyone so far has been nice and made me feel comfortable. The location is excellent! I definitely recommend the apartments.

I was scared at first because of all the bad reviews but everything went smoothly maintenance improved a lot I haven’t any problems with my apartment and it will almost be a year. The staff is great they are very helpful with anything I need and they respond promptly.this is not a fake page this is a real live resident my apartment is beautiful I love it and I plan on staying here for a long time if they don’t keep going up on the rent:) please don’t let the scary reviews stop you from coming to take a look and be the judge for yourself.

Love the area and the pools! The management staff is great and willing to help out. The staff at the office could do a little better with communication. Other than that a great place to live!

The rest of the reviews say it all. The fake replies and even snarky remarks.pft childish. I'm glad I saved my time. And the reviews mentioning an owner by name are obviously fake which is just sad but funny. I'm waiting to hear about the day someone really gets fed up and puts the owners in actual legal trouble. From the looks of it, it's only a matter of time.

This place is a joke. You can't get the maitenance emergency line to even return a call. The office is contantly closed. You can never get someone to answer the phone.

As a great tenant, this complex has went through many different ownership. The staff is rude, maintenance is horrible, as a loyal tenant there is lack of understanding with no accomendation. My hot water was cut off for 48 hours with no notice, my porch wood is over due for repairing, nothing is updated I was promised for update after I sign my last lease. Community is nice but rent office is horrible. My neighbor kid is up at whee hires running and jumping over my head and they stated there is nothing they can do I may need to adjust my living. How inconsiderate when I’m not the problem and been there 3 years. After giving a chance because of new ownership they are no better. I would not recommend to a poor person. Customer service is every thing and marking your tenants happy with creative reasoning is key.
