I have personally appreciated and liked the people of PG Banfield in our 1-2 years with them. But overall, unfortunately we haven't felt well taken care of at this location.
In 4 different appointments with our pet, we had a different vet every time because they kept moving to other locations. We never felt like we could settle with a vet we really loved and trusted.
We had a big dental surgery scheduled in the early summer, and after 10 hours of having our cat there we got a call saying they never did the surgery because of complications. That's fine, except that they said they'd schedule us a week later and actually scheduled us almost 2 months later. Come to find there was never anything scheduled by them after all this time. Also, this is after we were told by them that our cat appeared to have serious dental issues and it needed to be taken care of as soon as possible.
Nice people, but honestly have not been reliable for us- overall very disappointing experience here. I'll be taking my cat elsewhere for her surgery and care.

If you know exactly what’s wrong with your pet, or you’re looking for a very specific treatment then you’ll find it here.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable diagnosis, or care that seems like the employees care about your pet, you’ll find much better elsewhere.

Unfortunately for me, I’m locked in to this fee per month club with banfield, so I’ll be exploring others in the area.

Normally I would say, "get your quote in writing", but with Banfield that doesn't matter. I took my dog in a couple of weeks ago to have a lump checked. They recommended a procedure to remove it, which was $294. When time for the appointment came (weeks later, the first time appointment available) he was dropped off.

About an hour later I got a call from Banfield stating it was actually going to be about $1100! WHAT? !

They then told me if I sent them the quote they gave me, they'd look it over. Of course I sent it, got a call back, and was essentially told, "sorry, that quote is wrong, we'll talk to the doctor who did it, but your bill is now about $800. "

When I picked my dog up they again admitted they screwed up but wouldn't honor the PRINTED QUOTE I was given.

Fleeced me for an additional $600 knowing my dog needed the procedure.

A shocking business practice that I can't imagine ever doing to a customer of mine. A quote is a quote. I will never trust them again and will ensure others don't either.

Being that my dog Goliath stopped being able to walk suddenly in 4th of July I couldn’t get him in to an emergency vet without waiting in the car for 5 hours. I didn’t want to put him through that so I called Banfield 8am Sunday when they opened and was greeted on the phone by the kindest voice, Ashely. Without having been an existing patient of record they still got my boy in at 10am for an appointment. I thought he was dying. The entire staff was the most compassionate, kind, and professional team. Dr Knox called me immediately with results and he is going to be okay I think. This office is filled with a team of angels. I will never be able to thank them enough. Dr Knox will be our new doctor if she will have all of our crazy pets. But once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Caring people like yourselves make the world a better place ️

Worst experience I have EVER encountered with a medical facility. Their lack of care and follow up caused my cat to go into hypoglycemic shock, ended up with him in an the emergency room with an over night stay. They handled the situation extremely unprofessional. They never return phone calls, nor document that you called. You have to continue to call before you get a response. I could go on and on! Do not trust this clinic with your animal. Nicole escalated the situation instead of making it better. She was awful to deal with. Her lack of Compassion and empathy and over all manager skills were absolutely embarrassing.

From the moment we walked in, our two pups were well looked after. Check in and weight in were handled at the same time, we were promptly given a room for the appointment, and the vet joined us soon after.

The doctor couldn't have been nicer, she took the time to explain everything clearly and listen to/answer all of my questions. Everything you want and need when dealing with the health of your pets.

Always a wonderful staff! We have the wellness plan for our two cats and it makes vet visits simple and affordable. Making appointments is consistently easy and they even have availability for emergency visits. They don't try to sell you extra things or services you don't need. Highly recommend!

Good location and great veterinarians
Price seems reasonable to me
Easy to schedule appointments/drop off
They have not yet pushed us to buy unnecessary items/health plans.
Will definitely continue to use this location

I have had good experience for the most part. They have good vets in this location. However, one left to the clackamas location. She will be missed.

Vets unresponsive to price estimate requests. Services moderately over priced. Services recommended appear excessive in many instances. Staff appear to be very encouraged to sell care packages/subscriptions even when value is questionable. Services and staff are high quality. Staff is always friendly.

This is not anything but a preventative care program. Horrible if you need immediate care for your dog. We had two rather urgent needs in a two month span and the earliest they could see our dog was a week out. I have cancelled our plan because they make no room to accommodate a good paying client when we need our dog to be seen right away. I am going back to our original vet who can always see us the same day.

The office is always kept very clean and inviting. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and you can really tell that everyone really loves taking care of their patients. I bring my dog and cat here and I would absolutely recommend them.

I've never really had a bad experience at Banfield. Everyone has always been so nice and friendly and helpful.
I've seen so many horror stories in reviews but have yet to experience anything negative.

Everyone at this location was absolutely wonderful to my pets and I. It's kind of silly, but really nice to hear people gush over your pets and how cute/handsome they are. They loved on them and gave them treats to put them at ease, and I really could see them relax because it was just another person giving them attention, not a mean, scary vet. They did offer me the Banfield plan, but were not pushy and only offered once, not over and over, like I've seen some reviews say. Prices are very reasonable and I will definitely be back!

Very caring staff and doctors. We had to put down our long-time pet recently and they were very professional, sympathetic, and even sent us a condolence card personally signed by all the staff. We will continue to bring our pets here for the great level of care they receive.

Had the Banfield wellness plan for a few years now and have been taking our animals to the same location during that time. Service has greatly diminished. Can rarely get our dog in for a nail trim during the day (despite calling in the mornings). Almost always fully booked but can’t “schedule” it either. Call ahead to refill prescriptions that are still never ready when we get there to pick them up. Had our newest member neutered and was told that his collar could be removed after his follow up appointment which was never scheduled. We have to remind them that our puppy is on the weight based flea control plan to get his monthly dose. Always asking them where we are with immunizations and reminding them what was previously discussed. These notes should be in their records! Complete lack of good follow up. Feel like we are the ones having to do their jobs to get what we pay for. Just want a vet/clinic that takes a vested interest in all the animals they care for and don’t feel this is it.

This office is by itself meaning it's not in the big pet store.

Much quieter with better service.

The coffee machine they have has an awesome selection of hot chocolates with mint etc the best I have ever seen in any office.

I went in to drop off my cats for a dental cleaning and vaccines. They’re both enrolled in the Banfield Wellness plan. After getting checked in I very clearly asked if everything was covered by my plan and they said yes, the only extra charge would be a anti-flea tablet IF they found fleas (they didn’t). Upon pick up, I was told they were charging me $100 for X-rays, which I was never told about. I explained that if I had known the cost I would have postponed the appointment, yet no solution was offered. Considering canceling my wellness plans, very unhappy with this situation
