Banfield Pet Hospital, Portland OR

Sunday morning 7: 30 i call bandfield pet hospital at 82 Avenue and ask to speak whith the doctir that prescribed my dog medication the previous Thursday, no luck she is bussy, i left a message to please change my dog medication from liquid to Pills, they say that they will call me. By 12: 00 pm I show up at the clinics and ask for the same request, I spoke whith the customer service and explain that we will wait for the medicine at the parking, after one hour and 30 minutes I go inside againg to ask for the same medication and they told me that they have no odea that I was waiting outside the doctor on duty hold hostage my dog medication just becouse i don't want to comply to her suggestion, very uncomfortable my visit to the bandfield pet hospital

This Banfield is absolutely amazing! I can not say enough good things about the people here and also the wellness plan. I know the people here really care about my dogs and I have no problem dropping them off knowing my dogs are in good hands. They keep tabs on everything, keeping me in the loop, and answer any question I have. Thank you Banfield for being amazing and loving my two dogs!

They are so incredibly helpful & made the process of getting my cat diagnosed & set up with his diabetes stuff so simple. Thanks to them, he's feeling much better!

They said they were not equipped to give my cat flee treatment! Missed diagnosed my cat for 8 months. Costing my cat to suffer.

Banfield’s Dr’s and Staff are awesome and really care about your pet. Unfortunately their Corporate office makes it next to impossible for them to do their jobs effectively. Understaffed practices (1 doctor on a weekday) are the norm. Good luck getting an appointment last minute to check up on your pet. Wait times are regularly 3-4 days. Not acceptable when your pet is experiencing discomfort. I’ve been a customer for 20 yrs through several pets and multiple states/locations, and service availability has gotten worse over time. I’ll be considering take my pet and my money to a vet that “gets it”. Pay attention to your docs and staff and customers Banfield Corporate office.

A cool place to take your pets, 7 11 right there to get snacks for yourself while your pets get the medical help they need

Nice staff although I feel like since I didn't know much about getting animals shots and what not that they may have given me more than I needed which wasn't cheap. But I guess that's part of being an animal owner. Very clean place though.

My cat is diabetic and old so I worry a lot about him. They always been very helpful with any and all questions. The pet insurance is totally worth it, especially with an elderly cat. Had a couple health scares and it was all covered!

Great staff and lots of locations. Healthplans with preventative care in mind. Not really a "hospital" for pets as they generally require an appointment to see your pet for urgent/emergency care (e.g. Cat with a UTI).

Been taking our boxer here for 5 years and our stupid cat for a couple. We have wellness plans for both. We always have a great experience regardless of what we're there for. You can tell they hire people that truly love animals. If we have an emergency and we can't get in to our regular office there's always been another office in town that can fit us in. It's a big company that treats you like a small office does.

The facility was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Doctors genuinely care about the health of your pet. Their pricing is a great value for what is offered. I wish human healthcare was this straightforward.

I have been coming here for over 2 years. Used to love the staff but just dealt with one of the worst people at the front desk. They just lost my business.

The Banfield team was so humane and caring. We had to put our cat down, and they made the experience as good as it could be. They made sure our cat was as cared for as possible, and supported us through the whole process. It was a very tough time, but they made it demonstratively better. I will be a Banfield customer for life.

Poor attention to detail. There staff are incompetent at setting appointments. Could put your pet at risk.

The people here are very sweet and you can tell they do care, not about just animals but educating owners! Highly recommend!

Staff was very kind and courteous to my pet and I. My dog was very scared of the vet but the Dr and her assistant made any and every accommodation to make him comfortable. I will continue to bring my dog here as long as we give in the area.

I would give 5 stars but like others I have had scheduling problems as in I am told I have an appointment only to show and find someone screwed up. With me it was the same young man that did it.
