21With great pleasure I write this review. I rented a log splitter for today. The splitter was totally awesome. Even fun to watch. My son in law had no trouble operating it we finished so fast. The staff at True Valley were so nice and polite. Great place to rent from. Thank you so much.
We rented a dethatcher/power rake. It worked great and they showed me how to use it. We were charged exactly what they quoted us over the phone.
Service was fast and friendly, the tiller I rented worked great, I'll be back next time I need to rent something.
My experience with renting the wood splitter was just fine. The man on the phone I talked to when I reserved it kept things simple and was able to answer questions I had. When we picked it up they showed us how to use it and helped us load it. All we had to do is get it back safely and on time. We had no extra charges or unfriendliness. Price was good and the machine sure got our job done!
We rented the Genie Z-32 lift from True Value Rental to paint out house because it is a two story with tall gables and the lift performed great. Also we were very impressed with the staff, who came out to provide some instruction on how to use all the lift's features. We also thought they were more than fair with the rental agreement. What we didn't find was poor customer service complaints listed below. In fact, we received better customer service than other places we've done business with. That's why I gave True Value Rental 5 stars and will be back the next time we need to rent tools.
They where not ready for pick up and the equipment was never filled it was on empty and they don't have any care in there equipment
Since 0 isn't an option I give this company 1 star simply because the company is two faced and wants to scam you for more money than originally owed for equipment rentals. I can't wait for this company to go out of business. Never in my life have I ever had such poor service "ABSOLUTE THEIVES".
Not the friendliest employees, and the soil they sell is priced slightly higher than average while being lower quality
Really, really, really bad experience, first, and last time. If you want to make AMERICA Great Again, don't visit this place.
Rented a multi month car from Hertz here and had the worst rental experience ever. Got charged 2x the agreed amount over the course of my rental then got charged again after they closed it out. Hertz needs to figure out how they work with these 3rd party agencies but for now I would NOT recommend putting yourself in this situation. The lady who owns the place, Sunga, was friendly and tried to help but had no authority to really make changes on my contract. Do not rent from here.
First I gave 2 stars for the delivery being on time and the linens being clean and nice.
50 chairs- filthy spent 2 hours cleaning them
5 long tables- ok worked fine

20x20 “tent” was told it was very nice for events and weddings it’s was filthy dirty and there were holes in it. It did serve its purpose but I wouldn’t have been so understanding had it been an event or wedding. They should maybe mark that one for “shade or bbq”. I called the store to let them know that since they aren’t the ones who put it up that they should know the condition so that they could fix it. The “assumed” owner answered and was less than interested in the issue. So sad as we love to support our local family businesses but I should’ve read the reviews before renting from here. They shouldn’t advertise “CLEAN” party equipment.
I went there to inquire about renting some equipment and the owners daughter was extremely rude right from the start. I don’t know how this place stays in business. It was obvious she was the owners daughter, no employee would treat the customers so badly and still retain their job
Equipment worked well. Only wanted to rent for half day during holiday. They charged me for full day even though I used it less than 4 hours. Said it was there policy. Said it was posted on the side door and on web site. I called their bluff and started to look it up on web site in front of him. He said, well it's not really on the web site.
You're better off renting from a real business like Home Depot, now I wish I would driven the extra 4 miles and done just that!
Rented a 7000 excavator last weekend, it leaked hydraulic fluid everywhere on my property, shut it off about 3 times while I had it rented and the battery was dead on about the 3rd start. Not a piece of equipment worth renting, it is obviously worn out.
Do not rent from this company. They are rude and unprofessional. They picked up my equipment early, and when I called them to let them know, instead of working it out with me they treated me as if it didn't matter. I spoke with Ed. He was short and rude. There are other companies to rent from that treat their customers with respect. Power rents is a local company, with great customer service, I spoke to them about my issue with Grand central and they immediately sent me out the peice of equipment I needed.
1 star is too high for this company! Is there a negative scale, cause they're on it!
These people are so rude and unprofessional! I absolutely cannot believe a "small family run business" can survive for as long as they have with the WORST customer service ever! (See horrible reviews from 8 years back!) They could CARE LESS if their equipment is functional or if they treat you as a customer, let alone a human being! "Ed" the owner, was the ring leader of bullying and I can only assume the younger guy was his kid who was verbally rude/aggressive and using vulgarity towards another employee in front of a customer. You don't get to treat your co-workers like that at Arby's and work there the next day. That's just PART of the unprofessionalism offered as part of their "experience".
Regardless, we rented a trailer from them and the lights didn't work initially, the rude employees rigged it to work, while we waited, which it did, at first. Then the lights and brakes went out, loaded with livestock! When the owner was called for guidance we were clearly told "there is nothing I can do to help you, just get the equipment back". Wow, Ed, thanks for your concern for your customers!
Your COMMUNITY DOLLAR is not well spent at this business! They CLEARLY do not care about their COMMUNITY CUSTOMERS, why would you spend your dollars to support them?
Have never felt welcomed there. They always act like customers are an interruption to whatever it is that is is important to them. Unhappy people.
Went to buy a chainsaw today. No one was in the store except a young man and appears the manager. The young man asked to help, but knew nothing about chainsaws. The older man never made contact with me, but keep looking at his computer and answered his phone a couple of times. I left after 10 minutes and purchase my chainsaw at another dealer. I hope Echo knows there dealer sucks. YOU GET NO SERVICE
DALANEY BACON WORKS FOR GRAND RENTAL, but what can you expect from a company that's falsely advertises, fake reviews I guess. Want some advice? Don't rent from GRAND RENTAL. "ALL ABOUT FUN" is a MUCH better place to rent from. Hide your cash because its a 40$ for cleaning and a 75$ every half hour if your late. AWFUL COMPANY. ILL BE IN TOUCH WITH CORPORATE!

ONLY gave them 1 star because 0 is NOT an option. Wow where to start. I went into the office to rent some items for a bridal shower I was planning. The older guy who walked up to me was very helpful but the older lady behind the desk was VERY rude. She cut me off many times and acted like I was just in inconvenience because I didn't know what size table cloths I needed for their tables! I should have know better but I rented and paid for everything at that time even though the lady talked to me the whole time like I was to poor to rent from them or didn't have the money to pay for it.
My husband went to pick up on Friday night after he got off work. He was going to be late so I call to let them know. The first guy who answered said he would get me over to the "after hours department" and evened up hanging up on me. The second person I spoke with said that they would wait but ONLY till 5: 10 then they were leaving. WOW! So my husband pick up and felt so rushed he didn't even look at anything he just packed it up. When we started to unload we noticed one of the glass vases we rented was broken.
Apon returning it we told the lady it was broken and all she said was "it must have been broken in transport because we wouldn't give you broken stuff! " I told her what had happened and how we didn't even use it because it was broken and she just kept saying the same thing. So rude!
I cant believe how a "small Family owned business" could treat people like this. My whole experience with them was horrible and I would NEVER rent from them again! I could have driven a bit further and went to party pros (they get all of their extra stuff from them) and would have been treated a lot better! Spend a bit more money and get treated a little better!
