Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Store reviews
38For "nuts-and-twigs" people like me, this place is nirvana. I have always been able to find just what I was looking for, and often interesting things I'd never heard of! You want hemp protein to put in your granola? Bob's got it! The cafe (at least before covid) offers healthy, delicious meals. Also yummy bakery items for sale.
Great place to buy grains and the restaurant food is so good. They only serve breakfast and lunch.
They're back. A few changes, order and then serve yourself. Food still good and the staff is nice and thoughtful.
Excellent fresh food, friendly service & all of Bob's fantastic products for sale-many of which aren't in the local grocery stores. Well worth a special trip. We'll become regulars!
All was Awesome, great service and food. Mike the store manager has great customer service.the whole time was great.thank you.more great service from kate and Vanessa. Thank you again so much.food again was great.
This folksy shop in the bright red building offers a universe of grain, seed and flour products from food cultures found around the world. Many items are organic, and all are reasonably priced and of consistently excellent quality. Plus, there is a wide selection of GF flours and flour mix equivalents. Bob's is my first choice when I need to find an uncommon ingredient for my baking recipes, and I'm never disappointed.
Today we went for the 4th of July celebration. We came early so we went shopping at the grain store. We got 1 granola, oats, towel, and ceramic. When walking around we decided we will stop for brunch very soon, we would have we t that day, but we had the event to do. Staff said hello every time we passed them, very friendly. The event had one dollar snow cones, free popcorn, games with prizes were I won a hat bars and granola, and 5 dollar burgers which we decided not to get because there was no cheese on them. We went to Burnsville instead. Overall I love the organic options and cannot to come back soon for brunch and more shopping.
The restaurant was recommended to me highly. I went there to have breakfast and was very surprised. The service was terrible but to my other surprise the food was even worse. The only redeeming thing is that they were honorable enough to return the purchase price.
Amazing place. The tour location and the store and cafe are about a mile apart, but along the same road. So no worries if you go to the wrong location! The tours are free, once a day Monday-Friday at 10am, although you can get there at 9: 45am. If you do the tour first, then you can enter your email for a coupon for $2/person for food at the cafe. One person in our group went for breakfast before the tour so she didn't know.
The tour lasts about an hour and the day we went there were only 5 people on the tour, so it was pretty interactive.
If you are reading this and on the fence about going, JUST DO IT!
Great store. Love their bulk bins. Baked goods are nice. Super clean store, very friendly and helpful staff.
The food was delicious and came very rapidly. My toddler, my vegan parent and I all found something great to eat. I can’t wait to go back and explore the actual store.
It was a run of the mill lunch.
A bit slow on the order to table time.
I have pre ordered by phone and it was MUCH quicker.
Roast beef and Veggie sandwich were good.
This is the best food I have ever had if your looking for a fresh delicious meal I recommend you come hear worth the price 10/10
First time there for breakfast. My wife had the oatmeal and I had the french toast with scrambled eggs. Very good. The breakfast hours were about to change ending at 11am, lunch is served until 3pm. Parking is a challenge because it's a popular place. Also the local industrial area takes up most of the on street parking.
Huge selection of diffrent flours and grains. Breakfast/lunch cafe thats decently priced. Pastries available as well, I'd recommend the cinnamon rolls. There is also a small coffee cart outside, which brews local coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Love Bob's red mill. If you are looking for special unique flour like almond flour. Bob's has it and priced well. Huge gluten free section. They also have long term food storage items. When ever in Oregon I plan to stop at Bob's. The icing on the cake is Dave's killer bread outlet is just across the street.
I love coming to Bob’s Red Mill! This is my second year doing chair massage here, and I signed up for as many shifts as I could. Being in a place where the workers are happy, enjoy each other, and are invested in the outcome of their mutual efforts makes such a difference!
I’ve stayed for lunch because the food is good, and the people are worth investing in. I probably spent everything I earned in the store, too. Bob's has an incredible variety of the highest quality organic and conventional grain products in abundance.
Do you like kamut? Teff? Bob's Red Mill has them, along with oatmeal, spelt, and of course whole wheat flour.
I use to love this place, would come here twice a week for lunch.
The menu has changed completely in the week.
They have cut out their daily specials.
Half the menu items are gone!
They changed the salald mix. (Which I understand the new mix is healthier but some people like a little iceburg or romaine lettuce in their salad.)
They no longer serve breakfast all day, which was a huge draw for my family.
The BLT that I use to rave about is gone and is now free replaced by some crappy samdwhich with Turkey on it and the bread isn't even toasted. Looks like I need to find a new lunch place.
I've been going here since it opened and have always loved it, until today. I don't know what happened, or when, but sometime within the last couple weeks they've changed their menu. Most menu options are gone, and you can no longer get breakfast for lunch. I was unable to get something as simple as a turkey sandwich. To add to this, the person taking my order, who has been there for years and was never the warmest person to begin with, gave off massive attitude about it all.
When I received my french dip, the bread looked unbaked (like a take-and-bake roll). My friend's sandwich was cold all the way through (cold bread, cold bacon), as if the sandwich had been made that morning and put into the cooler. The place was half-empty, when every other time I've been there it's been jam packed. I don't know what's changed, if Bob passed away or sold the business, but I have absolutely no reason to ever come back here, and after happily coming here for years it's a real shame.
I went to buy gluten free flour for pie crust since my nephew has celiac. I found it easily and was out shortly.
