Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Store reviews
38So bummed now that they changed their menu.: (Used to love the biscuits and gravy, buckwheat pancakes, etc. Now it's just not the same. Super limited, boring menu now. Gave it 3 stars b/c at least the bulk grocery section is still there. Won't be coming back for Saturday breakfast with the family anymore, sad.: (
What a wonderful and interesting place. We went with our grand kids and had some breakfast that was very good. The food is ordered cafeteria style then delivered to your table. Biscuits and gravy were the best I have tasted and the breakfast sandwich was also very good. Home made jam came with the buttermilk biscuits. Prices are reasonable. Stay and roam around the employee - owned mill /factory store to see hundreds of stone ground grains, fresh nuts and trail mixes, etc. Walls are decorated with historical photos and news articles about the place. We'll definitely visit again.
Very friendly staff, vegan and vegetarian options. Vegan oatmeal cranberry cookies are amazing. Out of the way location but worth the trip. Stop by the Dave's Killer Bread outlet across the street to make the trip an even better use of time.
Really disappointed in the new breakfast menu. Ingredients too expensive to continue with your previous menu? I don't buy it.
The amount of people in here looks to be reflective of the change too.
We could hardly find a seat previous and now its half empty.
The new menu is terrible. Your seasonal chia jam is gross and the serving size is inadequate. No packaged jam means you offer nothing my young child can eat on his toast or pancakes. WHY DID YOU GET RID OF THE FRENCH TOAST? !
Also. So great that you offer a biscuit and gravy option. BUT. Literally every time I have ordered it, it has been stone cold. Don't you have a thermometer in your kitchen? You'll remake it, sure, but then my family doesn't get to eat together. Four times now. And I've never been offered any compensation for waiting an additional 15 minutes for my food to be hot. That's an hour of my time wasted.
Great hearty and cheap breakfast! Good vegan and vegetarian options, so it’s a great place for everyone!
Disappointing new menu. Loved the place before, but now I can't take my kids because I don't think there is much for them to eat at lunch that is kid friendly.
Great food and quick service.
Breakfast is served until 11am, except for Saturday.
Their salads are delicious.
Good food, great baked bread and cookies. Best grains and flour available. Gives you a new meaning to the word 'cereal'.
Great little place. Also great food with great stuff to buy and talk home.friendly staff. A must visit
The recent changes in the menu are not appealing to me. No hash browns, no steak and eggs, biscuits have changed.and coffee is now bad. As it stands now we will not be back.
The food tends to be more like cafeteria food rather than home style coming. Great friendly service, but if you're looking for a hearty meal this isn't the place.
Without a doubt & by far the best biscuts & gravy in Portland! Great menu tons to choose from & very reasonable prices.
A bit pricey, I have a 25 mile drive so I buy enough to last for awhile. Selection is pretty good
Best breakfast! Great staff! I got the breakfast burrito, it had a whole wheat wrap. Came with a cup of fruit. Got a scone.delicious! And a chocolate chip cookie.delicious in spite of it being whole wheat.
Not only a great place to get grains and flours but also a great restaurant and place to grab a healthy meal.
Nice place to get lunch. Their lunch special is a pretty good deal. Decent place to meet with coworkers for a quick-ish bite.
They have such a large selection of gluten free flours and foods. Hardly anything you t unch thercan't find there. They have bulk food and just a large supply of all kinds of flours. You can get a great lunch there for a reasonable price.
