DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Portland - Tigard reviews
25Nice big clean rooms. Staff were welcoming. Breakfast was a major let down. Price too high for a bed for 6 hours.
Such an excellent hotel. We were greeted with a smile and positive attitude. I actually felt like the hotel appreciated my patronage and wanted my business.
I will definitely be back, I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about our experience at this hotel.
I highly recommend this place.
Stayed in a CLEAN king bedroom unit with sofa bed. It also has a small refrigerator and coffee maker.
This hotel allows Dogs. I thought I would break out or have an allergy attack. I did not have any. The hotel does a deep clean to all the rooms and made sure it was covid disinfected. It was quite also. This is a Good place to stay. The staff are VERY Helpful and friendly. Check In was quick. Convenient to tourist spots. Tea Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Children's Museum. Etc.
Check in isn't until the ridiculously late time of 4pm. We got to the hotel at 4: 30 and were told they still didn't have a room ready. Our water was shut off after 9pm. A poor experience wrapped up in pretty appearances.
Complain to the hotel staff 3 times about very loud AC unit (PTAC) in the hallway by my room. It took over 3 times to get it shut off!
I appreciate Hilton's accommodations. I love the sheets.good night rest all the way around. This location is centrally located and is easy to get to.
1) I booked online for $313. During check in they charged over $400. I had to request that they correct it, and they couldn’t correct it until after checkout.
2) The couch in room 344 is ripped up. A hotel with the reputation of the Double Tree shouldn’t have ripped up furniture.
3) All the “perks” of a Double Tree hotel are shut down such as the restaurant, room service, breakfast in bed, pool and fresh cookies. But they are still charging higher rates.
4) The guy who checked me in rushed me. Was not very personable. As I was leaving the lobby I realized he rushed me because his friends were visiting and he wanted to see their baby. I understand the urge to go say hi to your friends, but maybe finish doing your job first and properly before rushing to talk to your friends.
Relatively new interior. Large bathroom with good lighting. Tons of clean towels. Awesome continental breakfast. Extremely friendly reception desk.
Friendly front desk staff and very comfortable/spacious room. Cleanliness is good, not flawless. More than nice enough to stay a couple nights in comfort. The parking lot isn't very big and a bit tight. Would definitely return.
We didn't really receive any services. We used the conference room and all that's ever provided is water. There was also water on the floor that I ended up having to clean up because my friend who is handicap can't wear shoes and would have had to walk through it.
Not exactly a hotel expert or anything but the place was spotless, the beds were very comfy, and the breakfast really good for a hotel. There were a lot of smells there though.the lobby smelled like cookies, the elevator like air freshener, the hallways another kind of air freshener, and my room like vodka. I don't mind the pleasant ones but a little uniformity would be nice esp at 6: 30 in the morning. Just a suggestion.
M y wife and I spent New Years here, Room and Hotel was very clean and comfy, Breakfast bar was tasty and well attended, a very special Thank you to Steve at the front desk and Asst.manager Angel who helped put our Stay over the top. WE shall return
Typical DoubleTree. Though no vending or ice on individual floors. Their convenience store was sorely lacking beverages and snacks. Had to walk 1/2 Mike to a 7/11 for drinks and snacks.
Would have been a five star review, but was unable to get my caffeine fix due to a broken barista machine. Great hotel, though
Nice updated rooms with an open floor plan. Staff was courteous and friendly and the 24/7 cookies were a nice touch. Stair access inside the building was odd but not a deal breaker.
Really clean and comfortable place, the people working on the hotel are really nice. The room where I stayed was clean and spacious. They have a great bar and the bartender Angie was really nice and fun, she explain about the history of Portland and their breweries. Breakfast buffet added extra points to the experience. I definitely recommend the hotel.
I just went there to deliver some food. It was nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the guest where clean. If I had to is stay there for a few nights.
The employee at the desk was super sweet. The room was nice and clean. I wish the breakfast was free (I believe it was $12) but since my son got to eat free with my purchase it wasn't too bad. I was just passing through so I'm not sure how convenient the location is, but I do know it was pretty far from the airport so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have a flight unless you are leaving your car at the airport.
Nice rooms, really good breakfast. Could have a better housekeeping staff, our room didn't get cleaned 2 days out of 5.
Overall pretty nice. 4 stars because the shower wasn't cleaned very thoroughly. Other than that highly recommend.
