Fred Meyer reviews
40Cut a lot of product that I used to buy here. Plus since their remodel customers can't find anything. Shopped here since I was a kid and this is the most disappointed I have been. Hopefully it will turn around
They have been out of Red Barron cheese pizza and Starbucks Via French or Italian coffee for days.
The only reason I go there is because it is within walking distance, so it convenient to get a few groceries. Still there a good selection of items, wine, deli, etc.
Small and cozy Freddy's! Condensed selection! Don't expect to find all the things you might be getting at a normal sized FM here!
Has good number of parking spaces. Found sugar and milk at very good prices (was sent on a mission). Self check out was relatively quick. Could have been better with helpful and pleasant service.
Still a disaster. Lines so long not enough help. I did self check out and 523 was my so called "help" the machine tells me an attendant's on the way but she was too busy gabbingwith another employee I had to wave her down. Then because I had a gift card and didn't know I needed to swipe it like a bank card she rolled her eyes at me. No thank you when I left. She is a major crab. I saw her talking down to other customers before I got started. She needs break or a new job.
Total mess. Stay away. Store is doing a reset. Prices seemed to have reset as well. Up. No employeeson the floor know where anything is either. Go to winco
Burlingame Fred Myers rocks Portland! Finn, ash, Ryan Mike, Laurie, Chad and red at customer service. And there's a few more. Thanks for making Burlingame so awesome. Super dan
Johnathan, Ash, and Paul are all amazing people. Their help and customer service is second to none.
The Manager at the Burlingame store needs to take a class in personnel and staffing management. Two cashiers open, half of the self checkout lanes closed and the store is slammed! One of the cashiers spent a good five minutes not checking out but instead chatting with hand gestures to a customer.
There computers are messed up. Charged me 6.45 for 3.49 Fritos. Their resolution center said my charge of 6.45 was someone else's card for gas
Like I said too many whites but that's all of Oregon and the north west. Nice sandwiches tho. 10/10 would eat those sandwiches again
Ash was a fantastic employee and helped a lot today in the check out - efficient, kind, and such a positive attitude!
This place has helpful staff and just about everything you could need. The layout is a bit awkward though.
Unlike many businesses in Portland (and even other nearby fred Meyers) they do not provide receptacles for recycling or composting, despite the fact that they have food scraps. This seems to be against the law in Portland, from what I have read.
Please join me in boycotting this store until they bring them back (they used to have them, but got rid of them because people were throwing things away in the wrong bins).
Amazing service regardless of what time you enter whether it be at 7 am or 10: 55 pm. Counters are always open and well staffed and always happy to help customers. They have the best produce in town compared to all the other grocery stores.
It was okay except for the deli I walked up to the counter to get some pasta salad stood there for pushing 5 minutes before anyone acknowledge that I was even standing there and unfortunate thing is there was four people working 3 behind the counter and one out on the floor, strange so they get a D - for today.
The pickup service is more hassle than it's worth.lots of unreasonable substitutions e.g. 1 tomatillo instead of one pound.clearly the people choosing the rotten produce for you have never cooked or shopped before.and then it is very difficult to get a refund: 20 minutes, two stations and 4 staff without apology or anything extra.repeatedly misinformed even though they escalated to a manager.
Always reliable!
I've always liked Freddie's brother Oscar's hot dogs.
Still unclear why this chain can't figure out how they want to organize their stores. It's easy to get turned around from one location to the next.
The prices are good and the selection is excellent, so I'm happy.
