I like Fred Meyer's and this one isin the center of alot. Good place to grab a coffee and decide what to do first.
Hate this place, worked here, was almost hit by a car well I was pushing carts, and when I told the driver to slow down and watch what he's doing he got out threatened me, use derogatory term for gay people and I was fired for trying to defend myself. Probably could have sued the store but not worth my time to deal with these idiots, their Union the555 is useless wanted me to sign up for the union give up $8 every check oh, and I was only making $11.40 an hour so basically minimum wage
Love Fred Meyer one stop shopping. Slow checkout but love the varsity of things I can purchase.

This is a great Freddy's location and an absolute "must go" if the alternative is Lloyd District Safeway in my opinion. Store is clean, well stocked, and has sooo much stuff. Highly recommend in/around the Lloyd District.
The prices are generally middle of the road. More than Winco but less than Whole Foods. The selection is very good. Great seafood deals. Clothing is hit or miss. It's Kroger, really, so no surprises.
