Fred Meyer reviews
29Drove here to pick up an online order. I opted in for text notifications and didn't get any so I assumed the order was good. Not only did I not get some of the items I ordered (apparently out of stock) they also substituted one of my items without notifying me. I was also charged for 2 paper bags which I wasn't given or asked for. I called the customer service desk and the girl there could only interrupt me and repeatedly tell me that the items were substituted or out of stock. She did not address my issue with not receiving text notifications or being charged for the bags. It would have been better to get some sort of communication.
I drove 20 minutes to pick up the online order, but was told items were out of stock. Didn’t receive any notification before I arrived.
Previously a cultural and historical gem, now a sterile boring box.
This place used to have THE greatest deli counter and produce 20 years ago. Today it's a basic boring box, looks and sells the same stuff as it's competition.
I keep going because it's damn convient and the staff are union.
I used to like this Fred Meyer, until about a year ago; since then, I've not enjoyed shopping here. General parking lot issues are exacerbated by a significant chunk of the parking lot, which is always pretty full, being transformed into reserved Pick Ups parking (which I never see occupied) and the closing of one of the three entrances. Since then, every time I go in it seems entire departments or chunks of departments have moved (there's home goods on two separate ends of the store, for example). The departments that I actually go to Fred Meyer for (hardware, office supplies, etc) seem to shrink in size to accommodate a growing collection of seasonal/home decor items, or have been moved, leaving me stuck just trying to find what I'm looking for (if it's even available). I only shop here on lunch break where I work nearby, and otherwise opt for the location in central Beaverton whenever I otherwise need to go to a Fred Meyer for something.
Fred Meyer on SW Pacific Highway in Tigard is our family’s local Freddies. However, since we live near Bull Mountain Road, this location is a little more of a drive for us. But the times we do shop here we are never disappointed.
I can honestly say that the quality of the produce, bakery, meats, etc.is top of the line. And the prices are definitely very good.
Anytime we have needed help I’ve always found everyone to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The produce is always fresh with a wide assortment of both regular and organic items. The self-checkout section usually has an opening and moves pretty quickly.
I definitely plan a shopping here again and again.
A well organized and maintained store.
Bakery foods are very yummy here.

WAS a wonderful store, but now it is owned by Kroger. They got rid of thousands of products, and added more groceries of lower quality. Now I avoid going there in favor of online shopping.
Items are on the pricier side, but there is definitely a large selection. Sometimes though it's hard to find what you're looking for, especially since they're always remodeling
This has been my grocery store since 1988 and it just keeps getting better as they upgrade it every few years.
This store is in the process of a huge remodel. Clothing sectionwillbea third of what it used to be. More food selections. Natural foods I integrated thru out store.
Recently renovated store with hand held self scanners. Parking lot layout is only thing holding back a 5 star review
I was stop at the door on the way out, she ask me for Receit. After she Did check my receit, the alarm go on and her comant was. "this is a different story and she check me
again (it was only three things on it) and I point out the alarm sensor on the hair spray. I did not liked to be stopt make me feel bad and the way she stop me was not nice.
This store is going through some changes. The remodel will be a welcome upgrade as it has to the many FM stores throughout the Portland area. It’s hard finding items now but once they’re finished shopping will be a breeze once you orient yourself within its walls. I’ve been in several FM stores before and after remodel and can say it’s well done. Especially the ones that install the beer tasting bar!
Courteous, friendly staff. Great coverage of items. Not just food. Remodeling going on for a couple more weeks.
Great deals! There is remodeling going on so there's a little mayhem trying to shop but I had a great experience overall.
I love the place the people are friendly and very helpful there is just two things I don't care about is how they rearranged the store and on senior citizens day the cashiers don't tell you about the discount because a lot of times I forget
They just launched a self check out tool with instructions how to use it while you are shopping. Neat and I think Kroger is catching up with Amazon.
Newly remodeled on the inside and my family and friends all agree that we hate it! We used to do all our grocery shopping here but now we shop elsewhere because we just hate the remodel, it doesn't flow well. FM should fire the firm who designed this terrible floor plan. Goodbye Tigard FM!
Nice big store. 1st time in this store. Came in for 1 item. I asked 3 different employees, and got 3 different answers, all wrong. Finally found what I had come in for.
I am new to Fred Meyer, but I have found that the store is a bit overpriced. However, I love the garden selection at this location and I am always pleased with the service.
