My key wouldn't turn to shut off the car. I drove to the dealership. Nic was friendly and showed me a trick to use until the back ordered part was in. He said he would call when it arrived. I called about a week later to check on the part. Nic said he forgot but would be in touch since it was still on back order. I have yet to receive a call and it's been weeks. I will not be returning.

They ignored me for a while before I had flag someone down. And the test drive was extremely rushed. Overall poor experience

The last car we got with them was the best car buying experience for us. Micheal Anthony was our salesperson.

Shopping here was amazing! Moorland made buying a car a highly enjoyable experience, and we would absolutely recommend going to see him if you’re in the market for a new car.

Thanks Moorland!

One of the front workers Jenna helped me with my whole experience, she kept me very informed on the entire process, she was very kind and helpful. I had to tow my car there and off the lot and they were very patient and let me keep it there over night and pick it up the next day because I had work. My car was basically beyond repair / cost more than it was worth in total. Unfortunate about my car but very rare you find a dealership that will work with you. -thanks

After months of researching a number of makes and test driving cars at various dealerships, we decided to check out the Alltrack at Herzog-Meier. Michael DeMarinis showed us several choices on the lot and provided us with lots of information in a friendly, and most importantly a non-pushy manner. Our predetermined routine of not talking price fell by the wayside after test driving the car with Michael. The car sold itself to us.not Michael trying to make the sale. He listened to our concerns and answered our questions with a professional demeanor, and most importantly without any sense of aggressive sales tactics. It was a very pleasant buying experience and we absolutely love the car!

Just got my first car ever, a VW Beetle, from here. Michael De Marinis was so helpful, he was very patient with me and not pushy at all. I really believe he truly has his customers' best interest at heart. His boss Patrick was also helpful, he made the process of buying a car really fun. Overall a very good experience:)

I came here for a presale inspection on the 02/09/2018, I brought in a VW CC with roughly 60k miles that I was looking to buy. I met with the previous owner at Herzog-Meier VW, and when talking with the supervisor, it was specified that all the maintenance was done at Herzog-Meier VW. Before, I went to a different place for other two presale inspections, they were very helpful, professional and they did it for free; they give this free service to ANYONE who walks in. Since the shop was not specialized in VW, I decided to go to Herzog-Meier VW and pay for such service with the purpose to get the best inspection possible; I brought in the car and I paid precisely 202.50 usd. After the inspection, they gave me a report which contained what they found out about the car.

Honestly, I did not spend too much time looking inside the car before buying it, since I was going to pay 200 usd for a presale inspection. Before to schedule the inspection, I called Herzog-Meier VW and inquired about the list of items included in the inspection, and I was told that they were supposed to check the status of the different features of the car, malfunctioning equipment, maintenance due, etc. I admit myself that it is a rather generic statement, but they could not give me a more specific answer.
On the report there were roughly 600 usd worth of repairs on the car, the good news was that the previous owner was totally willing to meet me half-way on the price, so I purchased the vehicle.

Once I purchased the car, and I drove it for the first week, I figured out more in detail the quality of the service that costed me 200 usd. I found out that the car had automatic foldable side mirrors, which did not automatically fold anymore, my assumption is that someone in the past tried to fold them manually damaging the system. I checked online for replacements, they are roughly 450 usd/each, obviously they were not even mentioned on the report.it seemed that they just checked obvious things that I could even tell myself, for example: a crack on the fog light assembly, or the wiper blades to replace. But this still was not what convinced me to write a review about Herzog-Meier VW.

For other reasons, once I purchased the car I went to another shop specialized in VW. After they took care of the reason of my visit, the owner asked me if the “DSG transmission service” was done at 40k miles. I told him that I did not know anything about it, so he was kind enough to explain me the importance of such service on DSG transmissions, and he was surprised that it was never mentioned on the presale report of the vehicle.

Furthermore, I asked the previous owner about it and he told me that he did not do it because it was never brought up to his attention. I was already rather annoyed of the recent finding, so I decided to ask Herzog-Meier VW about the reason why they did not mention it on the report, also because it was due since 20k miles, voiding any remaining warranty on the DSG transmission, which is notoriously “fragile”; after I inquired about it, the answer was: ”the technician must have forgotten to include it” and I was asked if I wanted to schedule it for the amount of 399 usd. For the sake of the review, I have to specify: I called another VW dealer, they checked the car’s VIN and they confirmed that the lack of such service would void the VW warranty on the DSG transmission.

Long story short, Herzog-Meier VW is not responsible of the DSG service that was never done before, it is responsible for the faulty presale inspection, which basically failed its purpose; after all, THEY even admitted that it was supposed to show up on the report. I am astonished from the lack of professionalism shown in this instance, mostly because it is a service specifically for VW DSG transmissions.
The only positive note is that they gave me an honest answer when I inquired about the specific matter.

UPDATE: 04/07/2018. It has been more than one month since Herzog-Meier told me that someone was going to contact me. No one has made any attempt to contact me.

Horrible dealership. They would not move on a certified car that was 10,999.00. Newer vehicles with lower mileage out of state were priced 8700-9500. The used car manager Ayman Achour admitted that the prices at other dealerships were lower. Ayman finally told me to buy the car in California that was listed for 9500.

Fantastic service. Great waiting area. Easy to set up transportation via their own shuttle/rental service, or another provider.

Bought a new car from Ayman who is awesome! Then took it to service for a few minor issues and dealt with Nic who made the
Repair process so easy. They are a 5 star business and would buy from Herzog again

I stopped in there to find out if they could make a key to my 1974 VW 181 Thing. Unfortunately the car is to old and they no longer have key blanks for that year but they told me how I could get one.
