HK Cafe reviews
34This is my new go to comfort food place. I really enjoy the atmosphere even if it is competitive when it comes to seating. Most tables have groups of 5+ since the dishes are traditional family style. There is dim sum all day with the fried dishes only available in the morning. They are open late and great for leftovers.
By far one of the largest dim sum places I've ever been to in Portland and one of the best. The food here has always been excellent and they have soup dumplings to rival any I've had in town. I truly do enjoy eating here however when I go to eat there on Saturday evenings there often clothes for private events so make sure you call ahead to make sure if you're going to eat they're open they're very popular for wedding parties
The dim sum service is great! It can get noisy when it’s busy, but I liked the atmosphere. There can be a wait, but it’s worth it.
This is the best place around.hands down.for dim sum in Portland.
I have a sweet tooth, so gravitate to the "dessert" cart sooner than later. The egg custard is always firm yet tender and the pastry shells are flaky and light as air. Absolutely my favorite!
Traditional Cantone style dim sum restaurant, big and reasonable price, but sometimes not good service.
One of my favorite meals is Chinese Dim Sum, and this is the best place to find it. Their food is amazing and it's easy to try new things here.
I'm a picky person been here twice most of the time i cannot understand what they say and shove the food in your table.dim sum style people like it here but i don't my wife like it but it's me being picky so no offense. It's my opinion.
Excellent food and selection. Liu Sha Bao to die for. Excellent har gao. Excellent salt and pepper shrimp. You gotta flag people down when its busy. Some people seem to think they should be treated like royalty at a restaurant. You won't be, get over it. If you want to be treated like that, go get a massage.
A no nonsense Chinese restaurant with awesome food, has legit Chinese food and Americanized Chinese food as well.
Although the dim sum is pretty good, the charts of food dont come around enough times, we had to ask and wait a while for the food
Can be a little hit or miss if it isn't packed and the Dim Sum isn't turning over quickly. But when it is good, it is good! Try the buns, pork and sweet
First time. Amazing! Wonderful selection for Dimsum. Basically 10$ per person and it's a lot of good unique food!
A delightful Chinese restaurant! While I did not make it early enough for dim sum, we did try a few of the entrées. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted deliciously unique! The atmosphere was a bit fake, but that was just because the room was gigantic with nobody in it (ate around 6 on a Thursday). Staff are efficient, would definitely return!
A little disappointing as they didn't have as many dim sum dishes as I had hoped. Overall the food was good.
