Hotel deLuxe reviews
45My FAVORITE hotel, very worth the money, very been upset or saddened by anything here. It's in a great location, view is great, classy sassy feel.its a lovely place. I don't really know what to say, bit I can't say enough good stuff about this place
Rooms are extremely small, felt like I was staying in a closet. Not many amenities, top comforter was dirty and smelled like BO. Mentioned to clerk on check out, and they corrected best they could after. Which is why I gave 3 stars. You are basically paying for the 40s decor, which is great but lack of modern touches, makes this hotel overpriced and amenities underwhelming.
The room is great and clean. The decor is fantastic. The front desk and room service has been stellar. Would stay again.
Staff was friendly, gave great recommendation for junk food to sample. Checking and check-out we're both quick and easy. The room was small but the bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was clean and welcoming. The shower got hot quickly and had great pressure. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels quite safe.
We went to the Driftwood Room to have drinks and food after a Portland Thorns match and had a wonderful time as usual.
Drinks were great. I ordered the savory cheesecake. It was excellent! I'd never heard of something like that before, I will definitely have some next time I visit!
Stopped by for drinks after another bar I wanted to hit was closed. Not only were the drinks incredible, the entire experience between the classic 50's lounge type vibe, music, and bar tenders we're great.
First room, 707. AC did not work. Asked for a different room after the second night and they were very accommodating. Front desk does seem to get a little overwhelmed at times, so if you are calling for the valet, my suggestion would be to simply go on down front and ask for the vehicle directly.
Loved my stay here. Stayed in a giant corner room with a great view of the mountain. Super comfortable bedding and mattress. Room service was great - food tasted much better than expected and came fast despite ordering something that wasn't even on the menu. It's a good location for business travel (my reason) and for fun and food.
The Driftwood Lounges is fantastic. Solid knowledgeable bartenders making fantastic drinks with cheerful service. A very chill vibe. An interesting and eclectic flow of patrons. Great place to have a nice quiet drink or two with a close friend or two.
Rooms are attractive and clean, beds are beyond comfortable, customer service is top notch. We loved the Driftwood Room - cocktails and small bites were killer! Location is great for folks in for the weekend - walking distance to the Saturday Market and great brunch places, and a cute beer garden directly across the street. Can't wait to find an excuse to come back!
High Tea is a must! The tea section is delicious. The food is even more delicious! Staff are friendly. It felt like we were back in England having tea
Friendly staff, felt well taken care of entire time. Super clean and very well decorated. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.
We went for our baby Moon and were treated like royalty. Very beautiful 1920s hotel with an expertise second to none. Every small detail including free champagne nightly 5 to 6 is included in this hotel. Only downside is cost of overnight parking but that is more Portlands rules not the hotel. Amazing location too, all restaurants are. 2 miles to 1 mile walking from hotel
Wonderful hotel in a great location. Definitely worth the price. Staff was helpful and lovely. Our room was not huge, but there was more than enough room and a huge closet. 5pm champagne every day was a great touch. Would definitely stay here again.
I was only at the lobby, wasn't an overnight guest. However, the staff was friendly, lobby was nice.
The Driftwood Room has great atmosphere, quality cocktails, and tasty bar snacks. Didn't have dinner, but the dinner menu looked to be good as well.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I had a corner room with very high ceilings and incredible decor. It was nice and quiet. The staff were incredible as well. I would not stay anywhere else in Portland.
My sister and I spent 6 nights here. I really liked this hotel. There were lots of nice touches in the room and the beds were quite comfortable. The front desk staff were very responsive. We also made good use of the free bicycles on offer during our trip. The only thing is that it's not in the nicest neighborhood but still very much within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.
We visited Hotel deLuxe for afternoon tea. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the experience.
