I love this place! I've been visiting this location for at least 20 years and have been given nothing but high quality, always professional services and products. No, they are not the cheapest place in town. Yes, they are fair, curtious, and stand behind their products and services. When I need a company's products or services, honesty, quality, professional behavior, and great customer service means everything. While there seems to be a glut of poor managment, rampant apathy, and a distinct lack of customer service in Portland businesses, this location of Les Schwab will not let you down.

I keep trying to give these guys money and they will not take it (I know they are setting me up for the big expensive suspension repair) I bought them pizzas about 6 months ago. They are so nice. Even if it is a little more, I will get my suspension done there.at least I know it will get done correctly.

Poor service. Purchased 4 new tires and the tires had dirt all over them after install. They talked me into getting to new brakes, after 6 hours of waiting for my car they then tell me they didn't have the part and I needed to come back the next day. Very disappointed! Not quality service!

Ive been getting my tires from les schwab for 20 years. Came in for a warranty tire repair due to a screw. I knew my tires were due for a rotation but forgot to mention it. After fixing the tire (without an appointment) the tech told me I should have my tires rotated. They had the truck for two hours. Rotating tires takes like three minutes. Would have been cool if the tech had either asked me if I wanted it done or just did it. Instead I got the minimum required instead of just a little extra.

Dont know where to begin or maybe it's just at this location, I could have sworn this was the same one I went to years ago for tires and service if I had a flat, went their this time waited in line for few minutes talked for bout 30 seconds and left. It's a business we all get it, but as this location maybe the service went all into the free steak they have or use to have.

Great service, got my brakes checked because they were making a squeaking noise. Thought I needed new ones, but they told me that there just might be some moisture in there, they use an air compressor and remove the moisture and my brakes were fine. They didn't charge me a cent and they were so kind to come out and explain everything to me.

Travelling through Portland a few weeks ago, I wanted to get my drink on so I stopped at a Plaid Pantry. I'm in line waiting to pay, and I hear my last name being called.out. Apparently I dropped my credit card and Kai, in his Les Schwab uniform, found it and called out my name. I showed him my ID just to make sure he knew I wasn't trying to scam anyone and he handed it over. Les Schwab has always taken care of my wife and I, and now I really believe they truly always do the right thing by the customer! Thank you so much for preventing my vacation from becoming a stressful event!

Edit: apparently, what they did was not just appallingly bad customer service, but was also illegal. I am looking into filling a complaint with the relevant legal authority.

A while ago I came in to have my tires replaced. I left the key on the front desk with a staff member, and hours later, having heard nothing at all, called to ask after the status of my car. They informed me that I didn't leave the keys, so they were unable to move my car to the lift. I let them know I had left the keys with them, and when I asked why I had not received a call about the allegedly missing key, I did not get a cogent response. As an apology for eating my entire day, I was offered free labor on a brake job for my rear brakes. Fair enough, I thought. When I went to get my brakes done, I was told I wouldn't be able to get an estimate right away because they had to key in the parts first, but that they would call me with an estimate, and the job would be done in 2 hours. Three and a half hours later, I called, and they said it would be another half hour. Fine, I guess. Still no estimate. When I arrived, I was greeted with a bill of $465. Apparently Les schwab is notorious for replacing parts that don't need replacing, and charging exorbitant prices for it. Another brake shop told me my pads needed replacing, but my calipers rotors were fine. Les Schwab replaced all of those things without my consent or knowledge.

I had them replace everything save the brake pads with the original parts I came in with, since they apparently re-sell the OEM parts they take off your car anyway. They went ahead and put the old brake pads back in, now I have to spend another day getting my brakes done again. I will never do business with any Les Schwab for any reason, ever again. They repaid my wasted day with another wasted day, and I will not give them another opportunity to do it again.

Frustrated. I called in to see what the wait times were and was told I could have an appointment in 45 minutes and I would just have to wait for the amount of time of the service. I arrived about 45 minutes later and checked in. After a hour of waiting I noticed that my car hadn't even been moved yet. When I brought it to the attention of the person at the front desk she told me a different appointment had taken longer than expected and I had an 11: 20 appointment, which seemed to imply that I hadn't waited too long. At least one person who arrived after me has left so I suspect that the appointment system works, they just messed up mine and instead of trying to make it right they made excuses.

Great company and location. Got tires done on my 98 Explorer a couple months ago- fast and friendly without being pushy about upgrades etc. Went in today because of a screw in my tire, they got me right in line and had me road ready in about an hour, on a Monday morning no less! I will definitely stick with them.

Went in to get my alignment done and they called me with the expected additional cost due to some other issues that needed to be done. I called my last mechanic and asked what they would charge and told me that it would only be the cost of the parts and labor and the alignment would be included due to the parts would not be properly installed without it.
Les Schwab was going to install the parts and then charge for the alignment and if I didn't pay for the alignment they would have let me drive off with the parts not properly installed.
I am losing faith in this company.
At least they didn't charge me.

Fast and friendly service to start, but I was only shown two tire options when I originally said I want to see multiple options (granted 2 is multiple, but I'd expect at least 1 or 2 more). I wasnt even any info other than the mile garente for both, then the technician went to break while I was still at the counter and in the middle of everything. I get it, break time is break time, but maybe let me know someone will be with me, or better yet, who.

I have used Les Schawb for years and their customer service is outstanding! Before working on my tires they called me to talk about many options and prices.

I went to this tire store 2 weeks ago, I was ready with cash in my pocket to purchase tires for my trailblazer, I was wondering in the lobby for about 20 minutes no one aproached me to ask if I needed help, every employee that went by just looked at me like a crazy guy, I even aproach the front counter but the guy there was to busy doing or searching for something on the computer. This is the worst customer service I ever experienced at a Les Schwab.

They fixed my slow leaking tire for free. The dealership was going to charge me $20, then they said they couldn't repair it and wanted me to buy a new tire for $175. Hooray for Les Schwab - honest, fast, and low cost.
