Portland Nursery reviews
23Friendly, helpful staff.gorgeous selection.well maintained space and plants. I will always give this place my business.
Fabulous place! Fantastic variety of plants & more importantly the staff are extremely helpful & knowledgeable! A big thanks to Katrina! We will be back!
Such a wonderful place to go to get plants! I am never on this side of town but today I was and I stopped to see what kind of veggies they had available. Such a huge and wonderful selection of everything. Beautiful tomatoes which is what I bought and I am so excited to get home and plant them. The employees were so nice and very helpful, I am really excited to have another, beautiful nursery to go to in order to get my plants for summer.
Looked for starts. Patty Pan Squash and Banana Peppers. They were out of stock, but it's late in the season. Lots of other starts, though.
The staff where super helpful at helping me find plants for my home town of Salt Lake. Within this category, and beyond, they have a cast selection of plants!
I've never been but called with some questions about a specific plant. Yes they carry, no they don't have, no they don't know when they will, no I can't special order it, no I can't be contacted when they arrive. Terrible service, I'll stick with Shorty's.
Handling business well as usual! Staff were warm & helpful. Everyone was managed safely with 100% masked and plenty of space.
Great plants which usually survive my very poor gardening skills. Advice is also given freely and has always been good.
Wide array of all sorts of plants to meet your needs. Even had a banana tree! Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Right now, everything is outdoors due to COVID precautions, masks are required and social distancing is strongly recommended. The staff did a great job of ushering people in one by one to meet the requirements.
This store is like Costco for me, I can’t stop in with out spending at least $150.00. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable, you can’t go wrong at Portland Nursery.
Luv Portland Nursery. Great plant stock, employees, and classes. Can get valuable nursery tips and items year around.
It's a bit more expensive for most things, but the staff knows everything I've asked them, or they get someone that does. So you can't beat that.
My all time favorite place for any garden needs. They offer a wide range of plant species, trees, shrubs, perennials, natives, annuals, grasses, herbs, houseplants: everything for healthy, happy plants including tools, and more! Portland Nursery is a full service garden center, with great customer service. You can tell that everyone who works here has a passion for plants, they are all up to date on their knowledge about each species and how to give those plants proper care. I Highly recommend.
Went during the apple festival. It's a free event and has live music two food trucks and a tasting table with about 50 varieties of apples to taste (there's a long line for this). All the apples/pears are weighed at the same price. They have tents/building for additional tasting of cider and other apple products (honey, jam, dips, hard cider). There are plants all over for purchase as well as a large tent for kids activities. Parking is hard to find so go early if you want to park in the lot.
I came here for the apples this year and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was all knowledgeable and all very helpful. It was nice to have such service. They also had cider tasting for the more adult crowd.
Love these guys! Anything you need they have it. The people that work here are always nice and kind.
Girlfriend loves it here, we go often. Prices are good, plants are quality, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would easily recommend to any gardener.
Horrible parking management and attendant attitude, will never ever ever visit this location again (90th & SE Division a GREAT location!). They allow stand there and allow people to block traffic out onto Stark St, then get in the face of a driver who politely asks them to please either go ahead or pull over so the 14 vehicles behind them can move. This was after sitting for more than five minutes while they waited to see if a two adjacent spaces would open up so they could unload their vanload of kids.
I make a point to stop here every time I'm in Portland! The selection year around is great. Reasonable prices for a real nursery.
