Shari's Cafe and Pies reviews
23Finaly I can go sit in a restaurant. Service was awesome great job to the servers and door greater. They were extremely busy and positive, unfortunately I think the cook may have got a little rusty during covid the only thing that was good was the French toast. My omelet wasnt all that good bacon was under cooked and waffle was to airy but service was amazing
Called in my order for my family, when my husband got home they forgot the pie so he had to go back. In the mean time I was setting up our plates and my food was soaked in grease and I couldn't eat it. Sad because we've had them a few times years ago and the food was always really good. Very disappointed this time.
Good menu! The coffee is so good here, I will take a book and read while sipping it. Good experiences here, and the staff is friendly!
Try to call in order to pick up no matter what number you hit for the options it hangs up. Guess they dont want any buisness
My spouse picked up a pie for my birthday today at 4 PM it’s 830 and we sang the birthday song and put the candles on it and the pie is frozen. We can’t eat it. When I called the location the kid on the phone told me and I quote “ it will thaw that’s the best I “got” for you. ” I have worked in the service industry for ten years and that was some of the worst service I’ve ever seen. I hope issues such as don’t ruin some child’s birthday somewhere like Shari’s ruined mine today.
Only been to this Shari’s once, but it reminds me of the great Shari’s I first found in Washington. Excellent staff and food was perfect!
Food was good, prices were a little high especially for a cup of coffee but overall it was a pleasant experience
They changed their menu! It's fresh and sleek and easy to read. All of your favorite meals are still there, and it has has that signature Shari's taste. They've added some new dishes and there are a lot of new ideas being added. For a good brunch, try the eggs Benedict with avocado and tomato. Or the pastrami and swiss panini. Try something new, you WON'T be disappointed.
They have always treated us well. Tonight the food was especially good. They met our requests, even those of my sometimes eccentric mother. My kids love the burgers and fruit. I enjoyed the turkey dinner with a good whole berry cranberry sauce. My parents said the food was much better than at their local Shari’s.
Bought a chocolate cream pie and a deep dish apple. This is the first time in 20 years I bought pies that were just nasty. So disappointed. Wasted a lot of money.
They have very good food The Waitresses are wonderful it has a great atmosphere and everything's pretty good priced
My na.e is Chris I had a nice lady come in and set beside me. I wish I would of asked her for her phone number. She is 53 yrs old I believe her name was Tabatha
I have enjoyed Shari's Restaurants and especially their pies for many years and that's probably not going to change due to the fact that the service is great, the food is delicious and they are always open. Shari's really is a great "Made in Oregon" story and now they are found all over the Western U. S. The only thing I can say that fits in the Cons column is that their recent decision to pass the credit card transaction fees ($ per swipe) on to the customer is how business is done. Posting a sign at the cash register saying that they are doing so is intellectually questionable. Kind of like wearing a red jumpsuit to a rodeo. The customers who don't know that every business does this won't come back and the reality is that the employees are paying the cost with their tips. Especially when you consider that cash tips left at the table are so last century. Today's patron will be totaling the tip line at about the same time they notice the conspicuous sign warning them of the 60¢ they wouldn't have cared about otherwise (cue wallet slamming effect). Perhaps the Shari's think tank will redraw their plan and give the employees back their slice of the pie.
Decent service and acceptable food, they charge 2% extra if you use a card, more like gas station atmosphere.
Went with family and a few of us had a coupon for the pot roast. After some discussion they said they were discontinuing it.after we got it, we could see why. I mean the beef wasn't bad but the gravy had this really thick "skin" on it, where it seemed to gellify. Carrots were not good.tough outter skin, rubbery inside. Came with a salad, which wasn't bad, very basic.crutons, tomatoes, "fancy" lettuce. Also came with a cheese bread thing, which (to me) had zero flavor.
Would not get again, glad it was discontinued.:)
Service was decent, checked on us more than twice. But forgot to bring a requested item (never got it in the end.) Although friendly and smiled.
Be mindful of the 2% credit card "transaction fee"
Probably will avoid Shari's for dinner. Might come back to try the burgers. But to be honest, the transaction fee might just keep me away.
This time was a better experience I knew what I wanted so I went in there ordered it right away and Aiden took off
Good food and fair prices great for groups or by yourself. Wednesdays you get a free piece of pie with your meal.
Food was nasty steak not even cooked all the way my toast was completely soggy and the service was horrible your plan on going to Shari's wouldn't recommend going to this one
Always good food and service. Not too busy when we go. Had a great burger last time we went. Changing tables in the bathrooms so that's a plus since I have 2 you children.
I was picking up food for someone here and watched the cook spill food out of the pan and pick it up and throws the food back in the pan with bare hands and continues to cook then when he was pouring the food out on to the plate he put his hand in the pan and pushed the food out of the pan with his fingers the whole time the manager was standing right There with the cook smileing like he thought it was funny.he saw it all did nothing. I was absolutely horrified by seeing this.this is criminal i am going to the health commision.board turning these people in please i would strongly suggest never eating at this sharis.ive heard ok about the other locations but this one I'd avoid at all costs this is out of general concern for everyone's health!
