Shari's Cafe and Pies, Springfield OR

For the most part, I love Shari's, but it can be hit or miss sometimes. Their pies are delicious, but also loaded with sugar. I would love it if they came out with some low-sugar varieties. Their food is almost always delicious and tastes homemade. I rarely have a meal at Shari's that isn't good, but occasionally its just okay. They aren't really big on compensating you if you complain, but that's a lot of places these days. I have to mention that their Blueberry Lemon pie is outstanding.

As always good was fine. Service was good although the person who sat is was not our server and when she asked about drinks while seating is she didn't inform the server about coffee's we asked for had to wait about 10 minutes before we got coffee from our server. They were moderately busy at the time.

Usually the best place to get steak and breakfast. This place has a very bossy waitress who seemed to only get being bossy right. We were actually afraid to ask for our order to be correct. She crisscrossed two orders so every plate had something that was supposed to be one someone elses. It was very confusing and she blamed us! Come on, it's not rocket science! Then when we declined pie she announced it to the restaurant"who comes to a pies house and doesn't order pie? " Geeze I guess that was the one thing she might have gotten right, but it will be a different Shari's serving us from now on.
