The Arden Apartments, Gresham OR

We have so far been living at the Arden for a couple weeks now and love it. The staff has been really friendly and helpful. The neighborhood seems nice. We adore the design of the apartment as well.

I felt the Management at this property was unprofessional during our application process. First off, they NEVER answer the phone. I know they have caller-id, so maybe they just didn't want to talk to us. Either way, the Arden is still unprofessional. My husband and I didn't qualify, and once that was evident Amanda and Jaeson from the leasing office were pretty rude. When I would call to respond to Jaeson's emails, Amanda would whisper to him like, "are you available", do you want to talk, " and "oh god it's them again. " The last time we spoke with Jaeson he wasn't very friendly or helpful. He just kind of rushed off the phone, and he sounded very childish, as did Amanda. We were approved else where, so it's water under the bridge. However, on another side note the property is way over priced.

Beautiful location.not a lot of street noise. Fast service from staff for all your needs. They actually open the pool when it's hot not just by the dates like other places. Great workout room and sauna!

This place is trash. A disaster. Homeless people, horrible service, bad area, extremely rude management, and all the people who live here are rude and crackheads. Cars get broken into and stolen constantly to.

When we applied for this place they were offering gift cards if you moved in. After us bugging them about it 6 months later they get new management and we arent on the list, theres no paperwork on it, and the office person who signed us up doesnt remember. I hate it when people promise something and then go back on it. We moved into this place because of that reason and it had a few other amenities different than another that we preferred.

I enjoy living here. New Management has made a lot of changes. These changes have made living here better for all.

Couldn't find any apartements in gresham that had a washer and dryer inside, a fire place, and that met my standards until I found this place. These are most affordable for all the super amazing amenities. I wasn't to sure about it until I walked in and got a tour from jaeson who really convinced me that these apartments were the ones. Would recommend to anyone looking for a classier apartment than offered in the gresham area. These are for you.

If anyone knows heatherwood collection agency please leave me the number here. My ex was abusing me and did damage to the apartment and I got stuck with the bill. I very much need the number so I can see what I owe them.

They have a horrible management and poor communications. Be Cautious! They can tell you you can move out anytime and they will give your full deposit. THEY WILL NOT! Tell them a month in advance your moving out, otherwise you will never get your deposit back!

I wish I could put negative stars! This is the absolute worst property management company I've ever dealt with, and I've had a previous property management company put an 2 evictions on my record that were false.yet, i still would choose them again over this place! Repeatedly lied to my girlfriend, her father and I, even after being confronted on their lies. The front desk guy, Carlos Comini, does not know how to do his job at all and it's obvious. The leasing manager, I forget her name, seemed to go out of her way to be rude and belittle us as applicants instead of just answering our questions. I feel sorry for anyone who currently lives under this management company.

HORRIBLE management. Would mark it as 0 stars if I could. Absolutely APPALLED with the employees and managers of this place. I would not recommend moving into these apartments. If you decide to live here, even though the rooms are somewhat nice, expect to be lied to by the management and employees, and also treated like you are an idiot. My boyfriend and I were looking to get an apartment in Gresham and stumbled across this place, which seemed nice at the time. After we had gone through the entire application process, which included paying $150, the background checks came back for each of us and it showed an eviction on my boyfriends record, which should not have shown up at all. We went through an entire process, which took about a week to complete, of getting the correct paperwork and such to prove that the eviction should not be on his record or legally held against him because he paid all the fines to get that resolved 4 years ago. Carlos Comini, an employee at the Heatherwood Apartments, lied to me, my boyfriend AND my father, who is a successful lawyer who owns his own practice who was going to guarantee on the lease. Carlos told us that once this eviction was cleared off of my boyfriend's record and cleared with the company they use for background checks, OnSite, that we would be set and ready to go to actually sign the lease and move into the apartment. We had been set on this apartment so that I could start school in a few weeks, and then, out of nowhere, Carlos tells us "even though you got it all cleared up, the fact that it was ever on your record disqualifies you for living here" and REFUSED to get us on the phone with a higher manager than him. After we finally got in touch with the property manager after calling with no answer several times, she made it out to look like we were stupid and that Carlos never told us that, even though she was never there. All three of us (me, my boyfriend and my father) remember him telling us that. She argued with us over the phone for several minutes, and even told us that OnSite did not clear the eviction, when in fact, we have proof that they did. Now, I will be going to school in Gresham while living in a motel room, thanks to these jerks for lying to us and wasting our time. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you enjoy being lied to and being treated like you're an idiot by the staff.

Horrible Management is what this place is. I came in, processed my application & apparently the company they go through for background checks determines whether or not you get accepted as a tenant. Let me just say, Renters Realtor the company they use for background checks stated I had a Misdemeanor which was highly INACCURATE. I disputed that, sent documentation & they have not gotten back to me it's been a week already. The assistant told me I should call them & see what's going on? NO, I will not call. That is YOUR job to do, NOT mine. Let me add when I went in to apply, a tenant came in with a group of kids stating a homeless was harassing the kiddos that lived there & were playing outside so yes these reviews stating there is homeless activity are right about that. & please Heather Wood Management do not reply with the automatic reply you give all these reviews maybe you should do something about your issues instead of stating you will follow up.

Been here over a year now.we feel safe. A bit on the expensive side and rent is going up every year but it a great place to live

Would NOT reccomend. Was charged to replace a "pet stained" carpet when I moved out. Almost $1000 out of pocket. They showed me the stains after I had moved my things out of the apartment, and the stains were underneath where my bed was, so there is no was a spill or anything of the sort could happen. These were large dog urine stains and I have a cat box trained cat. Just out to get the most money they can.

BEWARE. MOST of the APTS @ Heatherwood Do NOT look nearly as modern and updated as their pictures. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Way too much crime and homeless/drug addict activity around here with not nearly enough security. Going to be investing in a security system for my vehicle that was broken into while parked in my reserved parking space. One resident seems to be allowing these homeless into his house periodically throughout the day. The resident that is seen doing this can also be found digging through the trash every morning. Management is fine, amenities are fine, grounds keeping and landscaping looks great, just way too many homeless.

If I could give them a 0 I would! Worst place ever! The managers are very rude and disrespectful. They make up notes to make you pay more or blame you for something you didn’t do. Even if you have a parking spot they are trying to kick you out of it. The apartments have some serious mold, they don’t care. Everything breaks. They make you pay rent on the 5th, so what happens if you get paid monthly and it’s on the 15th or 20th? They will probably kick you out. They only care about the money and making the outside look good, oh wait they are raising rent so everyone can leave and they can make the apartments looks “nicer”, make this place your last resort.

Extremely poor management, take into consideration the reviews on here before making you decision.

Management hates children. Ghetto. Moldy. Too expensive for the quality. Several great neighbors.

Lady above us likes to stay up all night and likes be stomping past 10pm thinks her self and dont work but any way they wont do anything about her bc of it we cant sleep if u like to get sleep dont live here they wont take care of the problem

Worse management after I moved I clean hole my unit but thay still keep from my deposit $276 for cleaning.
I rented storage kipping my extra furniture
They have mouse's in there storage they damage all my furniture.
