Wailua Shave Ice Portland

Made sure I made 2 stops in my one day trip to Portland! I've been to their Kauai location and it is just as authentic. Super trendy location, and staff was friendly. Order the special, you can never go wrong. Hurry and open up a franchise in Fort Lauderdale please!:)

Best shave ice in Oregon! I've lived in Hawaii for 5 years and this is truly da kine they make their own natural syrups by pureeing the fruit. So tasty and right across Powell's Books. Awesome location for a fun trip to Portland. Highly recommend. My favorites are lilikoi and ube.

Delicious. I was so excited to find out Portland had shave ice. The lava flow was incredible especially with the haupia foam. Great location too, very central to lots of restaurants and just around the corner from Powell's and the Living Room Theater.

Absolutely the most unique dessert I've ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and get Love Potion Number 9 with ice cream in the middle. I have no idea how they make this stuff but I can't get enough of it.

I never knew Shave Ice could be so impressive, AND TASTE SO SO GOOD! The Orange Dream is outrageously tasty, the people are super friendly, and the Hawaiian vibe will make you want to stay!

Best Hawaiian ice cream we had tried anywhere, including the best ones from Oahu’s north shore and Maui’s Lahaina. The selection is small but every single one is just amazing in flavor. What a difference does a great selection of natural ingredients make! Highly recommended and has been recommending to my friends when they visit Portland and none has been short of amazed.

Pretty sure this place has the BEST shaved ice around! Real fruit and the coconut cream they have. OMG! If you like shaved ice you need to try this place out!

Such a refreshing treat! I enjoyed “Da Mango One. ” I added a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, to be covered with shaved ice and then drizzled with fresh mango juice and sweetened condensed milk, and topped with fresh mangos.

You get a spoon and a short straw so you don't miss any of the juice. But even on a hot August day it didn't melt quickly.

This place is a hidden gem, small but has great items to chose from. I had the "Lava Flow" Pineapple Juice, Coconut Foam, Strawberry Puree,
Pineapple & Strawberry Fruit Topping and my daughter had "Wailua Sunrise" Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, & Pineapple Orange Fruit Topping. So many other to choose from a place to definitely go to if your visiting Portland. The service is quick and very friendly.

A great traditional shaved ice place! It's a small place with quick and friendly service. Most of the flavors are fruit themed, and everything I've tried is delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and amazing food! Came an hour early due to miscommunication about opening times and the lovely employee gave a free shave ice, when we came back it was quick, and the ice was incredible! So soft and sweet! Better than any ice cream I've ever had!

A cute small place kinda hidden.good service and shaved ice but the love potion could use more flavor but other than that, love it.great way to cool down right now.

What a cute little shop, tried their lava flow (pineapple juice with strawberry puree and amazing foam and fruit pieces) omg it's so yummy, can't believe it's shaved ice tastes just like ice cream.there's only street parking so may be a walk but seriously worth that and the line to wait.great dessert for a hot day.if in downtown definitely worth stopping in for.

This is the best shave ice I have ever had. Even better than in Hawaii. The coconut foam is delectable. They use real fruit juice and real fruit topping. The ice is the texture of snow. It doesn't leave you weighed down the way ice cream does. It's fun to watch them make it.

This is a great, healthier dessert place. A really good option to help you cool down on a hot day. Just expect a wait, also there is no bathroom here, so plan accordingly.

Great service and dont forget your stamp card because the shaved ice here is SOOO GOOD. The texture is so fluffy that it melts in your mouth far better than any snow cone. There are many options of flavors and toppings to add onto your shaved ice such as ice cream. I really love Da Mango One and Love Potion #9. Will come back again!
