Friendly service. Got the job done in timely manner- UPDATE: had to go from 5 stars to 1 here's why: I allegedly purchased "new" tires and picked my car up 2 hours later here in the end of December. All I know is 2 months later the treads are gone they barely passed inspection last month when I was told they were at about 50% tread. I had them replaced with verified (we watched) new tires at Duke's (1301 Sarah Street) on Thursday took them all off 20 minutes.just saying I will watch from this point on and so should you

Great service for tires, but I take my car elsewhere for other service so can't comment on engine or brake work

What a great experience. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. They really went above and beyond what they really had to do and made sure I left with a fixed and safe vehicle. Great prices as well. I would absolutely recommend this place if you need tires or other automotive repairs. I would give 6 stars if I could!

We brought our car to get inspected somewhere else and they were very dishonest and tried to sell us on all these things we "needed". The guys at Alberts were honest and only replaced what was needed and the price came in at half what the other place quoted. So I brought in my other car in too.

I have a rare expensive tire and they really worked with me on price and got it done in a great time. Would definitely recommend going through them for tires!

Sent my college daughter there today to get a flat tire fixed. The guy there couldn’t find Any issue with the tire so he filled it up put it back on and told my daughter to come back if it happens again.
Didn’t charge her at all. She said he was such a nice guy! We appreciate a kind honest business!

They don't have the license to do inspections since Pinnacle is no longer with them but yet agreed to do my inspection and let me know after my car was there all day that they can't provide inspection stickers for at least three weeks. They would have to wait for their license or whatever it is to come in from the state. I should have been told this up front.

Conveniently located next to the Station Square T stop. So, if you work in town and need a repair or new tires, you can't go wrong. They are real local people offering great service. They have a business relationship with Pinnacle Auto, which does mechanical repair work for them, on-site. Drive car to work, leave at Alberts, pick up when going home.

Just got towed here. He referred me to a great company. Welcoming smile. Fixed my tire asap. Told em about a slow leak & he fixed that too! Told me go home & get a drink (been calling crying to him part of the morning) he's awesome! I'm coming back. You should too!

My first visit to ATC was years ago to purchase used tires and have continued going there for inspections and regular car maintenance. They've always been friendly, professional and provided great service. I've never felt ripped off or that they recommended unnecessary service. In fact, they told me I didn't need some services the dealer said I did. I have recommended ATC to my friends and family and would recommend them to anyone reading this

I took my car in for an alignment and inspection. I had read the reviews and noted the complaints were mostly for them trying to sell unnecessary parts to pass their inspections. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I recently replaced my struts, control arms, hubs and sway bar links, necessitating a front end alignment. After wandering around for an hour I headed back. I was then told the vehicle would not pass inspection for a bad driver side inner tie rod a bad passenger side outer tie rod, some rust on the rear driver side fender and three marker lights. I'll grant them the three bulbs.
However, as a certified state motorcycle inspector, I had to sit through the entire inspection class and have a copy of the PA vehicle equipment and inspection regulations. Nowhere in the inspection procedure does it say a vehicle should be failed for rust on a fender lip. I would refer them to subchapter E, section 175.77. Can't find anything there that would warrant failure.
Now the tie rods, I returned home and jacked the car up to find out how worn out they were. I didn't find any indication of excessive wear at the outer ball joint nor the inner.
Admittedly my specialty is motorcycles and I really don't like working on newish cars, but I'm not an idiot and am reasonably capable.
So what's the deal? Thanks for once again lending credence to the widely held belief that mechanics just want to stick their hands in your wallet and grab as much as they can. They got their sixty five dollars and another crappy review. Don't let them get you.

Post script and response to the response of the owner; I was upset upon entering? I think not. I was, in fact, in a fine mood that morning. Only wanting to get the work done that I had asked for. By the time I left I was indeed upset. Upset enough to write a review and upon reading the owner's response, compelled to write again.
As I stated, I had just done a bunch of work to the car. If there were tie rod issues, I would have found them. I even checked again that morning after leaving your establishment because of the seed of doubt that had been planted. The failure for rust still gets me. Yes, there is rust on the rear fender. Now, according to PA inspection, if there is metal protruding and could be considered hazardous, that is a fail. This however is a patch of rust on the fender. The floors aren't rotted through, the fenders aren't falling off, you can't see through any of the sheet metal. A small patch of rust is all. The car is ten years old and has endured rust belt winters it's entire existence. I'm surprised it looks as good as it does.
No prices for repairs was asked for or given. I said I was going to get a second opinion because I knew your appraisal of my vehicle's condition was wrong. Interestingly, after replacing the burnt out bulbs (you guys were right about those) the vehicle was aligned and inspected without incident elsewhere.
I appreciate your attempt at damage control following a whole slew of negative feedback. Maybe you should reconsider how you choose to conduct your business. Then writing responses defending your less than honest approach to vehicle repair wouldn't be necessary. Just a thought.

Got my car in and out the same day. Even with my oddball extended warranty company. Jim is professional and courteous. He also help me out with the county fleet. Wouldn't ask for a better company to help us out. Thanks
