Restaurant Arooga's reviews
26Our order was totally wrong! When called to complain all they did was make excuses. Like why there was no bun on a burger, no utensils, food was prepared wrong, little things like that! Then to spend $65 on top of it all! Would NEVER recommend!
Awesome food! Ordered through door dash 3 times, and everything was great! Ordered wings twice, and pretzel burger, very tasty, cooked exactly like I asked. Great wings, extra crispy Cajun.he'll yeah! On top of that, speedy delivery. I did call them to make sure they understood my fondness for extra crispy, very friendly on the phone.can't wait for a sit down meal and a cold beer!
I would NEVER suggest ordering food here! We had just made it to a hotel from Indiana and had to order online. We order the cheeseburger, chicken wings, cheese steak, and tenders. Everything with fries. We get our food delivered and there were no utensils, no hamburger bun, no ketchup, and my cheese steak was wrong. I called to complain and they had an excuse for EVERYTHING! There was no sorry, we’ll fix it, nothing! NEVER AGAIN! Don’t waste your money! Not worth the $65! We could have had a nice steak dinner fixed correctly for that!
Have a nice outside area set up. Waitress wearing no mask and waiter not covering his nose with his mask. A little disappointed.
Arooga's recently expanded their menu to include several vegetarian options and some gluten free bread options as well, making this the top choice for me and my husband when we're craving a cheat meal. The food is always great.
Ordered schedule ahead online order because my daughter wanted to try the donut burger for her 10th birthday. Ordered at 3: 20pm to pick up at 6pm. My husband waited until 6: 34pm until our food came out. Not thrilled, I don't understand what the point of ordering for a scheduled time is if you're going to make it when you want. 2 and a half hours is plenty of notice to make 3 burgers, 10 wings, a wrap, and a kids pizza. If there was a staffing issue a call to say it was going to be behind would have been nice. He gets home and the burgers, 2 were supposed to be no pink and 1 pink, were instead red for the no pink burgers (to be fair I guess I didn't click no red) and brown for the pink burger. My birthday girl couldn't even finish the burger she'd wanted for her birthday meal. Really disappointing experience. Save your money, what could have been eaten was comparable to a sheetz run.
We placed a take out order. We ordered boneless wings and traditional, both extra wet. The boneless wings were bone DRY. The traditional wings were extra wet, but pink inside. They seemed busy when we picked up our order and we do understand things are not typical right now with the virus, but for the price, our order should have been done properly. We are very unpleased.
Been coming here almost every week for years. Wife and I love their margarita drinks. Appetizers are really good too, definitely try the big pretzel if you haven't. Wings are pretty good too. I suggest adding beer cheese dip if you get fries, they are so good together. Looking forward to coming back when dine in is available again.
Arooga's is an awesome place to grab a bite to eat and catch a game on one of their many screens! Zack was our waiter and was one of the best servers i have ever had! Great variety of food on the menu and a huge number of draft beers on tap! Great place!
All you can eat wings on Mondays is a great deal for $14.99
Dogfish Head American Beauty Ripple for $4 is a delicious complement
Bartender Emily White was very friendly and provided quick service
The server kept forgetting our orders and had to be asked numerous times to bring something we ordered to the table. What's worse is that it wasn't even that busy in the dining section.
Used to be a great spot with quality staff and kitchen.
Food is cold, sat under a heat lamp, wings are small and sauceless, and staff is inattentive. Something changed. Adequately staffed, too much inhouse socializing to give clients a good experience.
Friendly staff and quick service. Food was great and the Aroogas Crab soft pretzels is way better then the others I have tried in the area.
Food and service was good. Decor needs some repairs. TV's at table was nice when they used to work. Split and cracked vinyl on seats and suncken cushions need repaired.
I'm not sure what I was expecting. We were the only people in the restaurant for lunch at noon. We both ordered the chicken fingers and fries. I had 4 tiny pieces. She had 5 large pieces. So portion sizes were out of whack. Our server came by more times just before the check than the whole time we were there. I would think the "lunch rush" would mean let's hurry and let's touch tables.
Order a crab pretzel the pretzel was doughy under baked and dip was mainly cheese. I was trying to surprise my neighbor who is a Veteran with a treat what a disappointment. 11/11
The Carlisle Pike version of a popular regional sports bar and grill. I had an important business issue blow up my cell while driving home from my friend's establishment. I can't handle this driving, so I pull into Aroogas on the pike, not too busy for Monday night football, the bar is half full, that half locked into the game playing on the huge flatscreen above my head, playing at a decent volume, I use the head. It is clean and well maintained. Order a soda from the tall friendly barmaid who is having a number of different casual conversations with her patrons and staff throughout the room. She got this. I handle my pressing business and she refills my soda without even asking. Not one ounce of grief cos im not drinking booze and not eating. She new what i needed a warm place to focus on the task at hand. Thank you for being a professional. I'd love to have a steak and some homefries on my next visit. I like this spot even though it's right on the pike. I feel good about this particular location and the team working there.
I've never seen wings so small. Disappointed that I left hungry. I guess size does matter, no matter what she tells you.
Better wings then hooters. Always been togo orders but the inside is a regular sports bar and additional seating for families. Food is great, prices modest. Overall good place.
I will absolutely never order from this aroogas ever again! Every time I order wings they have no sauce on them. This place went down hill! Starts with management not making sure employees are doing things correctly. I’ll find another place for wings this is the second time it’s happened and it’s expensive as hell paying for something that I’m not even gonna eat now. Who wants plain wings? Get it together!
