Dentist Aspen Dental reviews
25Didn't have to wait long for my appointment. And the dentist didn't even hurt me when he pulled two of my teeth. And their pricing is very reasonable. Couldn't ask for a better dentist
Their staff is horrible. Always so clueless. Not once but twice I made an appointment told them what my insurance was and they said they take it. I go there and they say no. I call a year later because I have a different insurance and the same thing happens. It's so frustrating they'll just say yes because God forbid if they have to do their job correctly or go out their way to verify something. Very frustrating!
I’d give zero stars if I could. I never been upset by medical treatment in my life. I am 17 weeks pregnant. I was having extreme tooth pain, it was off and on, first time it started while I had covid so I just dealt with it. It came back several weeks later far worse, I couldn’t open my jaw much, couldn’t eat and can’t take anything for the pain due to the pregnancy. I made an emergency appointment for 8: 15am via the website around 6: 30pm that evening. I was sent the email confirmation and asked to do the registration paperwork online, which I did. I arrived at 8 am, as they opened. I was told to do the registration again, okay fine, I didn’t complain because of how late the appointment was made. Then I was told I may need a release depending on what I needed done from my OB that the dentist would let me know. I wasn’t taken back for my appointment until 8: 53. They took X-rays and explained I had an impacted wisdom tooth coming in and it needed to be removed, but they need the release form from from OB, and explained they will do it safe for the pregnancy. I was taken to check out and told by the receptionist as soon as I get the release, they’ll set me up for an emergency appointment asap to get the tooth removed. Explained my pay, since I was not insured but I explained out of pocket was no issue. They wanted $484 for the procedure. I just want the tooth out so fine. I asked if I could just call my OB and have her fax the release and they said that’d be great. I went to my car and my ob took about a half hour to get ahold of, so I drove home, my mistake. Just around 9: 30, the OB sent the fax. I called back to Aspen and was told no, but it’s getting a fax as we speak, we’ll call you as soon as we have it. So I went to lay down because I’m in terrible pain and watched tv with my son. The phone never rang. Finally just around 12 I got annoyed and called my OB back to see if they definitely sent it, and she had the confirmation printout and everything. I called the office back and was sent to voicemail. They close at 1, it was 12. I was not made aware of their hours but I had access to find out so that’s on me. They completely blew me off. No call about when they could see me, and now I have to see a different dentist entirely because I refuse to see this place but being it was Friday, I have to start this process all over again waiting for Monday, unable to eat, while pregnant, my glands in my throat are swelling and the pain is causing headaches. I highly recommend you try elsewhere, pregnant or not. The treatment was outright unprofessional to say the least.
Went in for a minor tooth chip problem. After X-rays and initial examination, I was told that I needed ~600$ (without insurance) worth of dental treatment not related to my problem. Was told they would not fix my tooth chip problem until I get the $600 gingivitis treatment. My dentist appointment two months prior didn't have any gingivitis issues.
This almost sounds like a scam where you pay for a treatment you don't need before you get the treatment you need immediately. Please get a second opinion prior to signing up for any treatments at this clinic as posted by other reviewers as well.
I needed about a dozen visits to get my full dentures. Each visit was a pleasant experience and my dentures are excellent. Great job.
What a difference a moving can do? After moving to Hamilton Crossings this office became a nightmare. Imagine an 2 hours watching house buying channel and then an hour and a half sitting in the dentist's office. And you know what the dentures I got were a disaster. What went wrong?
They said i needed 3 teeth pulled. I got a second opinion from an endodontist and they said the could save them. I asked them.for a referral and they said no they wanted to pull them. Lomg story short i had the 3 saved and this place sucks
Aspen dental is the best dental clinic I ever been to, very smart and professional staff. The work I needed done was Absolutely done in 3days. I was definitely skeptical at first but aspen dental proved me wrong. I recommend Aspen Dental for anyone needing work done professionally not prolonging any type of surgery or pulling any teeth or do any root canals or just feeding you a bunch of BS about how they can fit you in the schedule.
Went in for a toothache and was given a spiel about all this stuff I "needed" done. Also given a ridiculous estimate. Went to a local dentist that couldn't find even half of what they claimed was wrong with my teeth. Local dentist is also charging less than one third what this place wants for the same work on my bad tooth. That free exam is nothing more than a way for them to get you in and empty your pockets or put you into debt.
After trouble trying to get a cleaning in at the office in kcmo. Dr. Chata and Miranda in PA got me in right away. Let me tell ya Miranda is an excellent hygentist, my teeth feel exceptionally clean. Highly recommend office in Allentown!
They do not see pregnant patients. They also don't feel the need to tell you this until you are in the chair. Even when you fill out your history days prior AND speak to the office directly. In fact, the doctor kept making excuses rather than improving their protocol. He was upset that he could not do x-rays even though I offered to have them sent from my previous dentist (from the same calendar year). So, you're welcome, I'll do their job for them. Healthy patient. No issues. I probably dodged a bullet by not going to this dentist. Very illogical little fella.
Took care of my dental emergency early in the pandemic, when my family dentist wouldn't be bothered.
Waste of time they leave you waiting for a very long time for everything they don't have the right staff at the moment to tell you what you need you got to keep on making appointments when you have the pain right there and then and you want to get taken care of at the spot cuz if you have the pain you want to get dealt with at the time so you have to wait with the pain they don't give you anything for the pain so never again I will go or I will refer anybody to this place commercial that they have on TV is all bogus and their prices are ridiculous never again waste of time and there's checkout stuff are rude as heck when I told her that I was waiting that long she was really rude to me never again don't waste your time
I usually have my teeth cleaned with Miranda. She is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Miranda is a definite asset to Aspen Dental.
Great Dentistry! Doctor's and Staff are great! Very professional. I am so glad I found this dentistry. Well recommended. Thanks all!
Every one was extremely nice and knew what they were doing. I felt very comfortable there and they answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who needs a dentist. This is how I feel on the first visit.
Worse experiene ever. The xray person was jammimg the film onto my mouth stabbing into my gums. The Dr was insensative and pull on my face and didnt care if he was hurting me. Also the prices are outrageous. More then double the prices of any other dentist Ive been too. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY
The staff was very friendly & answered the questions I needed to know. They take a lot of Xrays that I'm not sure was necessary.
The staff was friendly and inviting, Special thanks to Miranda, the hygienist for a thorough cleaning.
I broke a tooth and they got me in asap that same day. Staff was very nice. Explained everything to you every detail. No long waiting time. Did great work. Had no pain not even afterwards. I was very satisfied with whole staff. Thanks!
I have had some pretty major dental work done at this office and they are ALL fantastic. All experiences have been comfortable. Would and have recommended this practice to anyone looking for a good dental place!
