Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse, Pittsburgh PA

I am a former employee, and to put things mildly. Not a recommended place. I request that either Owner nick or Chef eric give me a call. You have access to my number. But on the review side. There are multiple issues behinf the scene that would deter 75% of customers

The food was good. The service was slow (two people in our group has to wait a half hour. For a salad!). They're a bit deceptive in their drink specials. Even if it says the "beer on special" is on discount, ask before ordering the featured beer. It was not the same one.

Great rotating draft craft beers, besides large selection of bottles. Excellent pizza, with terrific tasty light dough, not oversauced. Their loaded fries and wings are lovely too. Overall a superb neighborhood restaurant!

This place generally has a selection of worth while craft beer, but the prices are a bit steep, especially when it comes to getting a growler fill. The pizza is pretty good, but I feel like they could be more well done. Overall, if you're drinking and eating here, it's not going to be cheap.

Bomb pizza- try the grandma style. They also have a great beer selection and specials most nights of the week. They are a bit pricey, but it was a gourmet quality that you won't get in a $12 pie

Caliente has great pizza and stromboli. I love visiting for their flights. I always visit during Pittsburgh craft beer week, so I can try all the collaboration beers in one place. I have visited the Mt. Lebanon location and Hampton. Both have great service and I love the beer coolers for to go beers.

Food was great. Server didn't write down our order, but sent it to the kitchen from memory, brought the wrong food and never came back to check on us. All we got was a simple pizza and wings.

One of the only places we could find open in the area at 1am on a Saturday night, and they were still serving pizzas, even! We had a great time, the pizza was delicious, the beer was cheap, and the bartender was very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning someday.

Pizza is decent. Was very disappointed in their draft beer prices. They charge the same prices for the same beers as most other restaurants, but at least other places give you a full pint. Out of a 20 beer draft list, exactly THREE were available in a 16 oz pour. Very chincy. If you're looking for a place to enjoy craft beer, this is not the place to be.

Literally LOVE this pizza! Best pizza in Pittsburgh hands down.just enough cheese and sauce ratio, dough is perfect fluff n crisp evenly textured. Pepperonis are da Bomdiggidy! Nice smoked flavor! Not greasy like some heavy greasy pizzas can be.i see why they won all those awards at the pizza competitions lol! I wish they had more locations.particularly one that delivers to pennhills area.they are a bit pricey tho so i only order on special small occasions lol

Great place, finally tried the burger and it's worth going back for! Also the best pizza in the area

Very good, we had the monthly special which was a white pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and spinach. I can see why the continually win best pizza in the country.

Ordered a pizza and wings and it took 2 hours to deliver. Pizza was cold, wings were cold, terrible. I will never order again.
