Children's Museum of Pittsburgh reviews
26We are regulars. The changing exhibits always mean something new.we were disappointed last week to see the cafe was closed as we always have lunch and had no food. Was told website would be updated, it has not been.sad
We love the Children's Museum! Every time we come my kids find something new to explore. We always save the water play for last and never leave enough time. They could spend all day in just that room.
My younger daughter loves going here its her favorite place. She cant wait until it opens again.
I like this place a lot it is so cool and fun +I’m 8 and even my parents like it here so please plan to go
My kids and I fell in love with this place! This museum is literally catered with all the things my kids love doing: running, crafts, building etc. You could not have built a better building for kids!
I want to go to this museum for one thing & one thing only. And that is to spend time looking, staring & put myself in the presents of Mr. Fred Rogers' puppets. Especially Daniel. I grew up trying to watch every episode. I miss it all. Much love from Wichita, Kansas. 143 Mr. Rogers!
We had a BLAST here! This place is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately we don't live in the Pittsburgh area or we would visit all the time!
We’ve visited here a few times, and while it’s a great place to stop by when visiting the city, we didn’t seem to think there was much difference from the last time we had been there. The exhibits and activities were the same. The staff was polite, but not overly ambitious to engage the kids in the extracurricular activities. Some of the things laid out had missing pieces or instructions. Overall, it’s a good museum, but it’s so hard to give five stars when Strong Museum of Play holds such a high standard.
No supervision by staff. The few staff that are present are incredibly rude. A very dangerous environment. Non GFIC outlets in the 3rd floor water play room. I'm certain no one properly sanitizes all the items that children touch. This place is haven for sickness and disease.
This place had a lot of fun stuff. Was kind of small and a tad expensive though. Also my suggestion would be to wait until your kids are fully walking unassisted before coming here.
Our daughter loves the third floor. The interactivity is just right for 2 year olds and the water play is unequalled.
Always a good way to spend a day. I have a 7 year old, a 4 year old and a 1 year old and there is something there for each of them.
My boys loved the water room and the garage. It was perfect for the family.and parking was only $6.in Pittsburgh.lol
Great interactive exhibits for all ages. Especially loved the limb bender and woodworking shop.
What a great place! We were visiting from out of state and went with some local family. All the kids (age range 2-14) had a blast. I wish I knew about the awesome water room ahead of time. We would of brought bathing suits and towels. We will definitely go back another time!
One of the coolest children's museums we have ever been too. Our 17 year old daughter and our 2 year old granddaughter equally loved it!
My daughter is 9 & loves this museum. It is interactive & fun! I enjoy some of the displays for us old school folks as well, such as the Mr Rogers neighborhood puppets.
The make shop is awesome! I went here for a college orientation trip, and it was one of the highlights of the week. Great place for creative minds of all ages.
Great place to take the kids for the day. Many interactive exhibits. Participates in the blue ribbon program for military. Highly recommend.
