Cottman Animal Hospital, Philadelphia PA

A great place to take your pet for any of there needs. My new baby went through his first surgery. He came through with flying colors. They really care about you cat or dog well being.

My first experience with Cottman Animal Hospital was wonderful. Dr. Lee and all the staff were warm, professional and attentive. Dr Lee was knowledgeable and I left relieved, with some solid answers to my many questions. I LOVED that I was permitted in the room with my cat (with a mask, of course). And the cost of today's appointment was the most reasonably priced vet appointment that I've had in years.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! It has taken me several years to write this, because our hearts were broken after our experience here, but we just adopted a new rescue and this memory came flooding back and I want to warn anyone considering this vet. This place was recommended to us by a neighbor because they were reasonably priced. At first they were fine for routine visits, but as our dog was aging and having breathing issues, over the course of 2 months of numerous calls and visits they completely missed a common disorder for our dog's breed, and just kept selling us anti biotics. On our last visit there, after they tortured the dog for what seemed like hours with blood drawings, Xrays and other things, it became clear their diagnosis had been wrong. They tried to shove us out the door saying we needed to go to an emergency vet. Our sweet dog died in my arms in the waiting room on our way out. They knew he was about to pass and tried to get us out of there as fast as they could! While my husband and I were both sobbing for our loss, they requested a large payment for their services. I still feel guilty for trusting these people and not getting a second opinion. If you love your pet, take it elsewhere, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE!

Our animals have been seen by this office for over 15 years unfortunately we moved to Bucks County and the ride is sometimes difficult, but for the sake of our animals it worth the trip

This place really cares about your animal. The vet techs handled my cat with a level of love that got cooperation flowing from her very whiskers! Where my Lola would never let anyone touch her paws for more than a second without issuing her warning growls, the tech was able to clip her nails with ease.

Brought our pup in after he decided to find a bag of red chocolate and puked it up. The girls were amazing, it felt like we've been coming here for years and it was our first time.

They truly care about the animals there and it shows in their work. Also, I never have to worry about getting ripped off and overcharged for things, they're EXTREMELY fair with their prices.

What a wonderful place. Although not lit, this sign was on their counter. Being someone who has said goodbye at other offices, this is really special!
Marisa was taking care of reception and Huma was our Vet Tech. They were both great and helped me with everything I needed and answered all the questions I had. Dr. Lee and the other staff were kind and knowledgeable about things. I'm glad I chose this office as my kitties' new doctor.

After Dr Joo retired that place is garbage.all my pets I've taken there for years, no more stay away.the aid was insanely rude and the new younger doctor just tries to rob you.such a shame stay away!

The facility is small and not modern but do not let that deter you! Dr Lee and her staff are amazing! They are kind, compassionate and affordable. In today's world everything is driven by modern technology and the "down home" feeling seems to get lost. Not here! The staff AND Dr Lee call to check up on your pet!

All the employees in here were great and very nice to me and my 10 yr old Chihuahua. It was also very affordable. I researched places for a few days and they were the cheapest I found. Would recommend to anyone. Great place! Thank you again!

I called to ask a basic protocol for PeP and the woman on the other end didn't give me a straight answer. Instead of focusing on the possible emergency at hand, she droned on about other vaccinations that didn't matter to what I initially called about: a rabies exposure

Caring competent staff. Excellent doctors. Courteous and very efficient. Really liked our ex hiperiences there

They had diagnosed my puppy with Parvo and with their help he had made it past the 72 hour danger zone. He still has a fight a head of him but they have taken Such good care of him! With the help of Heathers and the doctor they have been really great with all of his care!

They were very professional and quick with servicing my two cats. Before I could think "How are they going to get them to swallow that pill? "they had both swallowed the pill without a problem. Thank you from Chi Chi and Fluffy!

I've been going to see Dr. Joo for over 10 years and his prices were very reasonable. Since he retired a year ago and sold his business to the other vet Dr. Lee who worked alongside him it is not the same. She is a total rip off! My dog was bitten by my neighbors dog and I took him there they were going to charge me either $850.00 or $ 400.00. She makes her own prices up as she goes along.

Only issue is it takes a long time to get an appointment. They are very good with filling prescriptions.

So I brought my cat there to be put down, there was a tech named Amanda that was there that was so sweet, so sympathetic, so loving and caring for animals and for the job she has, it has to be hard at times. You could tell how much love and compassion she had for her job. And so informative for only being a tech. We need more Amanda's in this world!

Taking my little pet princess for A visit very nice wonderful I recommend this place to anyone getting into the place to Cottman Animal Hospital it was a blessing a little lady was coming out with her doggy her little Pat it just have surgery how beautiful they love this place I definitely going to follow up with my pets in here God bless you Cottman Hospital God bless all your staff and thank you for being here for us the most
