22It was my first time at the Cracker barrel since I moved to the area. Food was ok. I ordered some chicken with corn and Mac and cheese as my sides, and the chicken was not picked very well. I had a few bites that were gristly, and had to be placed on the side of my plate. Barely any napkins, where I could put the pieces of chicken away, and our waitress was a little gruff. I was disappointed in the place. Maybe next time it won't be so bad.
Took about an hour to get a to go order. Employees, including a manager would check on the food and say it was being bagged, then nothing for 10 minutes. Then check again and again say it was being bagged. When we finally got the food much of it looked like it had sat for a while.
Any restaurant can have a bad day, but the manager never even apologized. Obviously he wasn't concerned about happy customers. We didn't want a freebie or anything, just a simple apology from a manager would have been nice. In case you were wondering, they weren't that busy. We won't be going back here. There's other Cracker Barrels in the area. Hopefully they are better.
