Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Allentown PA

We had a difficult time in renting our vehicle with Enterprise this time. We selected to rent a Suburban this trip, since we need to extra space for family and ample luggage space. We received no word that our request would be altered to another type of SUV with less space. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, they told us the substituted our request with another type of SUV, but we told them that their substitute had less space. They then attempted to get us into a mini van, but that also had less space and we needed the large luggage space. We ended up having to take the minivan and then drive to another Enterprise location where we had to swap out the rental for the Suburban we asked for in the beginning. This caused us to leave for our trip 3 hours later than we had planned which resulted in us arriving late for our trip.

Had they contacted us when they couldn't get us what we asked for we could have planned to do something else, but arriving to pick up the vehicle we asked for and it wasn't there and what they were trying to give us didn't match our request, was very frustrating and caused us a great deal of stress. Communication is always best. I am not sure I will use Enterprise again after this.
