Extended Stay America Hotel Philadelphia - Horsham - Welsh Rd.

I bought a queen bedroom and it's not. They claim it's a non smoking hotel and my room smells like cigarette. Not clean enough and even though the staff is friendly, they haven't been able to solve my issues

I set up my stay online and paid. When I checked in they said they needed a card. They charged me again. Once I noticed I was charged twice I disputed it but got no refund. I see you say this will be addressed. How will you being addressing it?

After the initial review I was contacted and the issue was corrected.

So far they gave me 2 rooms. The first one already had a hotel guest, the second one smelled like they mopped the floor with arm pit juice. Its been a hour a 45 minutes since i started my check in.

Update: Finally got a room that was mostly up to par. The room was clean and comfortable. Heater/AC are working, bathroom doesn't smell like #1 or #2 lol
But once the sun went down and I went to turn the lamps on 2 out 3 did not work, so the entire left side of my room is dark.

During my entire check in the staff has been nothing but accommodating and helpful.

RUDE greeting! I had hoped to check in a bit early, 37 minutes. How do I know it was 37? Because before I could even say one word I was told check in was at 3pm and it was 2: 23 and dismissed with out so much as "Can I help you? " Zero customer service! They wouldn't allow me to pay for the 2 rooms I reserved. They forced the other travelers with me to pay which was an issue since I was the one taking care of all payments for our trip. The place smelled like smoke & vomit. The rooms were filthy & many things were broken. I didn't have the option to go somewhere else so I chose to wait until after my stay since our greeting led me to feel confident that if I complained it would be worse for us. I called management and requested a refund. I was condemned for waiting and told they would only give me a 30% refund of one night not my stay, still waiting for it. Since I was only on the one room as the person who paid, it was a challenge to get anything back. They did however agree to refund the 30% for one night on that room as well, still waiting. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this property to anyone. I am hoping that my plan to reach out to a corporate location or someone above the management at the property will yield a better response and result. If you like a clean comfortable place to stay and enjoy pleasant people, avoid this location!

One my worse hotel experiences in a long time. The room next to mine the television played loudly for most of the night until 5: 00 am after I had to call the front desk to ask them to intervene. 10 minutes later I heard the phone in the room ring and a few minutes later the TV was lowered. During the day on two separate occasions I needed to go to the front desk and there was a sign on the front desk saying the person was away. I had to wait quite some time before someone arrived. On one occasions I needed to go to the front desk because when I call from my room that there was no extra toilet paper, I was told to come to the front desk to get toilet paper. When I get there, there was no one there. The person at the front desk was the only one working the desk. When it was time to check out, I went to the front desk to get a print out of my bill in order to make sure I wasn't over charged. Again, there was no one at the front desk at the 11: 00 am check out time. I waited 10 minutes and no one returned. I got frustrated and just left without getting a print out.

Clean, quiet nite, friendly front desk attendee, lots of places to eat near and a walmart around corner, reasonably priced. Only bad was they forgot put toilet paper in room

I am staying at your hotel in Pennsylvania and the reason i am reaching out to you it's because we're staying in your hotel at Philadelphia - Horsham - Welsh Rd.and there's been a lot of issues and i wish i can tell u thy are not big but thy are like unsanitary issues and me and my family In Harm's Way okay first let's start with the first issue me and family been living there for like 2 weeks now we decided to get new sheets so when my wife decides to remove the sheets we found a big Bloods with big you're insane on mattress and mattress protector the blood spot was old and dark and sell like coagulated then my wife preceded to go to my mother-in-law my father-in-law bad to crack your back and they had a big under mattress and mattress protector. Then we went to the front desk and told third, manager, district manager, assistant manager. After that the assistant manager decided to give us a different room in that room we were able to look at it for ourselves before we chose it and that room was worse did my room because under sheets they had blood sayings urine stains and manure stains to.there was another issue that night somebody came into our room it was another Resident had our key card because they fell to check us after saying that they did check in. Then there was somebody's hair underneath my bed. And then there was today today the whole building is dark like the power went out. The reason why I am messaging you you today because of issues not getting solved and hoping that you can help us solve these issues.

Bathrooms were filthy, we found loose weed and weed stems in our bedding and we nearly witnessed a full on fist fight between a couple in the lobby. My boyfriend and I were extremely uncomfortable the entire time. Walls are thin so you can hear everything happening in the various rooms surrounding you. The staff are nice but they don't really do much of anything at all.

Terrible service, nasty room with dirty carpet, garbage on floor from previous guests, and food crumbs IN THE BED SHEETS upon entering the room. Absolutely filthy and disgusting.

I really wish I could just not leave any stars but oh well, the front desk receptionist is terrible, I believe her name is kayla and pieces me off is that they wont let me stay because I'm not 21 eventhough they gladly took my money.

The elevator not working all the time. Trash room on 3rd floor always overflowing with trash. Room telephone not working. Hallway not vacuumed daily. Front desk staff not properly trained. Laundry Room. 1 out of 4 washers working and 3 out of 6 dryers working. Outside always had trash in parking lot. Would not stay there again.

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel my reservation was canceled without any notification And the power was out for 80% of the time I was awake in my room. I will never go back 188$ of money was offerd np refund or ramification, I have had better experiences at a hostel

Absolutely absurd! And disgusting! The fridge is nasty with sticky stuff all over it! The bible even has sticky stuff on it. Online it said pool and queen sized beds. WRONG!? No pool and full size beds! This place is gross! I want a full refund. You shouldn't lie to get customers! People walking around drunk.

This place is not pretty it is extremely dated mostly clean and no bed bugs but they do not clean the rooms during the days you stay.cheap to stay there

A lot of stuff happening up on the second floor. It was brought to the staff attention. Did not feel safe.

Rooms was on excelent condition, so nice and clean, I stayed on room 308. FRONT DESK, not so good, POOR COSTUMER SERVICE by the Girl there.

It was okay. Room and bed were clean although the floor where there was no carpet felt a little sticky when walking barefoot. Also the room smelled a bit, possibly came out of the a.c.

The staff is polite and courtious. No ice machine. Appliances are dated and so are the beds. I haven't had a good night's sleep in 2 weeks od staying there. The old mattress is so uncomfortable.

Room was clean. There were a lot of places to go around to eat/hang out. Easy access to main road.complaints would be water pressure in the shower was very weak and shampoo and conditioner should be separated.

They were accommodating and the people who were at the desk were very polite and very wonderful.
