GIANT Food Stores, Hummelstown PA

Unfortunately I need a electric cart so that I can shop at the store. I like the store except for this one issue. The carts are not properly cared for. Today for the third time in recent weeks I got 1/2 way thru my shopping and the electric cart power dies. Now I check that the cart is fully charged but I end up making my way to the front of the store to get another cart. This is because the carts batteries are not holding a charge. This is the 3rd time in recent weeks that this happened to me. Giant it’s time to get your carts serviced and batteries replaced. I appreciate you providing the carts. I don’t know if this comes under appropriate accommodation under the American Disabilities Act. I do appreciate you providing them but will you please maintain the electric carts!

Best gluten free selection I have yet to find at a local grocery store! The staff was very polite and helpful as well. The prices were a little high but to have that selection for gluten free options, it was worth the drive and the money!

Clean and well stocked. Could use more cashiers at the front as lines were 4 to 5 people deep and not everyone likes self checkout.

The set up is kinda weird.
It's hard to find stuff.
I find myself back tracking alot.
But the store is nice and clean and good variety of stuff

Giant has the best produce of any store in the area. And the most efficient, friendly check-out personel!

My usual place to shop only out of convenience because the prices are through the roof so if I wasnt always in a hurry I would go elsewhere like Aldi's.

Shop there a lot. Love to on39 store at Hershey. Know where everything is and since they redid store everything is easier for me to get at.

I always get the most for my money at GIANT with the best savings/rewards with the giant rewards card. I chose this store to grocery shop at 10 times out of 10

Giant has their yard signs out early for flu shots. The pharmacist said folks are coming in earlier and in larger numbers to get their annual flu shot.

Seems to have a good variety of foods and good quality. Fresh and updated stock. Shelves are full. In area for work, needed food. Much better then Weis!

Hey all, just tried (as a 24 year old mind you!) to buy beer at this store. They insisted on carding my 16 year old brother who simply came to the store with me.and was not going to drink much less TOUCH the beer I was buying for my dinner party.moral to the story, GO ELSEWHERE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY. Weis and wegmans have never done this

The pharmacy staff are very accommodating, even though many rude people come in on a daily basis.

Picked up a fresh sandwich from here for dinner. Seemed clean and the cashiers were friendly that I dealt with as well as the workers in the deli department.

It was very busy on a Sunday. I found everything I was looking for. Plus I enjoyed the double gas points.

Not as good as it use to be. New layout is terrible and many items no longer carried due to beer and wine taking up too much space.

The one on rt 39 in Hershey is pretty darn good. It's not Wegmans and it's not Kings but it's pretty good

Clean, well stocked, friendly, use pharmacy all the time, and I want to call attention to their "flower lady", I'm always in hot water so I'm buying flowers all the time, I thought all Giant flower shops were the same, but the flowers I get at the Hummelstown Giant's on Hershey Road, last longer and look better than any other store, that lady knows her plants and saves my butt on numerous occasions, Thanks Flower Lady.

One visit to Giant and you will know why I would rather shop at Costco. Three of the four items I wanted expired months ago. Be careful if you dare to shop here.

Quality produce, well stocked shelves, good variety of store brand and name brand products. Courteous employees available to help throughout the store and plenty of register lanes open.

I love Giant food store. Just wish they would have left it alone and not rearranged everything. And also got rid of some different food items it was way better the old way
