GIANT Food Stores, Harrisburg PA

Even after months of promoting social distancing for health reasons, the aisles of Giant are as crowded with unnecessary pop-up displays as ever, which guarantee a traffic jam.

This is the best of all Giant's in the Harrisburg area! However, you can encounter some very uppity customers at this store.

They have so much and they are really clean and never crowded unless its Thanksgiving time then you got traffic lol

Would have got 5 but the lady doing check out may have been on some kind of medication. She kept scanning same item more than once and was soooo slow. I bagged faster than her scanning. Also some of the produce wasn't very good and you could tell the blackberries and strawberries, which were on special, were beginning to go bad

Giant has gotten soooo expensive in the last year or so. Then the covid thing happened, and now it seems like their prices went up even more! Taking advantage of covid to hike the prices up maybe?

Very disappointed the only giant i ever went to were you cant purchase cold prepared food with ebt card? Management was unhelpful!

Easily the best GIANT in the area. Always stocked with what I need, and the employees are always kind!

I just visited this store on my lunch break, and while going through the self-checkout, realized I had made a mistake. The attendants who were working there (one was named Heather, I didn't catch the other lady's name) were extremely helpful, friendly, and kind. If they are an example of the employees at this store, they have a great staff and I will be happy to do all of my grocery shopping here.

This is one of the cleanest stores I've been in and the biggest. Prices were fair, store is a little out of my way but I will be back.

Love the selection and the cleanliness, but why did you change the checkout. You can't do your own bagging and use your own bags

Excellent fresh food selection and prepared meals for vegetarians. If you're from the midwest, you'll appreciate the visit.

Out of all the GIANT stores, this is by far the best one in the area, even though they're now only open til 12. Giant Bakery is the besssst.

My daughter and I were able to find almost everything we were looking for in short order including some "hard-to-find" chips.

I like the option of childcare while shopping for ages 3-9, but hate that it is always so busy, items often out of stock, and staff not trained well enough on policies

Nice grocery store. They have an Chinese place, and a Starbucks inside it. Also have a hoot food bar and salad bar.

Love Giant store the have everthing. Members 1st banking. Wine and beer and a gas station By flower ballons card. Love it. My faviort place to go out to eat fresh salads.

The Chinese restaurant is garbage. Their Egg Drop soup is either being mixed with Hot and Sour soup or its just plain rancid when they sell it because it is sour. This has happened several times. They also tried to serve me a Hot and Sour soup once that was so old that you could almost eat it with a fork.

Great store: get your groceries, beer, wine, MTO bistro, Chinese, and Starbucks. Ratty in and out with plenty of parking and a gas station.

I always check my receipt as mistakes are often made as there was today. This time Pepperidge farms bread was to be 2 for 6.00. I was charged regular price of 3.99.otherwise I got some bargains today.
