Holiday Inn Express & Suites White Haven - Poconos, an IHG Hotel

Awesome experience! Pool was great and clean the kids loves it. The staff was more than helpful and the management was so kind and professional would deff recommend staying here again!

I hate this place it’s so many White bunny’s they so disrespectful and it’s like i won’t punch them in they face but everything else is fine

This hotel is horrible workers garbage, pool water disgusting a lot of brown stuff! No towels mold in my room very very disgusting roaches in the fridge very disgusting never coming back here ever again especially with these workers and where are the black people? Like it’s just filled with snow bunnies and this place is very racist NEVER AGAIN!

Staff was great. Room was nice, but the window leaked during the night due to heavy rain. You could see it had been damaged and some repair effort was done, but we stayed warm and dry beside the leak.:)

Great location near Jack Frost and Boulder's ski resorts.
Beds are comfortable.
Rooms are kind of old looking and need upgrade
Breakfast buffet is mediocre.
Service is something they can improve on a lot: poor check in experience, breakfast operation, housekeeping.etc.were quite lacking.
The front desk and management need training in service and hospitality.

Um the hotel was nice, the pool was cool and the prices are okay but the staff is terrible they’re all miserable and are treating the kids horribly.

Good but not great. The staff were awesome, but the hot tub was disgusting and the pool has a ring of brown crud, showing poor maintenance. I had a rusty shower head, and little things in the room were broken like wall hooks or the shower valve handle

My family (over 60 people) used the hotel for housing during our family retreat in the mountains, We also booked the meeting space for the weekend.
The staff was super friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Lauren GM made our experience memorable, Karla front desk agent has a bright personality and her customer service is remarkable (she ensured all needs were met)
We will definitely be back next year () for another visit!
Facilities are in great condition, rooms are spacious and clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this location.

Stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of December. All of the staff (day and night shift) were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael and the team, highly recommend

The rooms are clean.

The walls are a little thin for my liking. I could hear the other rooms phone conversations and I'm sure they heard mine. Overall it was quiet at night.

The only downside to this location is driving to get some food if you don't want fast food, but it's a great location off the interstate.

Had a smooth check-in, room was clean, staff especially, Ms. Taylor (at the front desk) was super sweet and accommodating!

Clean, nice rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Only issue was that we were out late the night before and were trying to sleep in but housekeeping tried to come into our room twice before the check out time even though do not disturb sign was on the door.

I think this property must have had a fast decline. Previous reviews make it sound like a nice place but that was not my experience.
Walking into the lobby, after staying at Hampton Inns, was like walking into a high school locker decoration of a hotel lobby.in other words a child's idea of what a hotel lobby might look like.
When I got to the front desk, I found it a little unusual that one person stood sideways with her back to a video log screen of at least 12 cameras or so around or in the property. She was not the person who would help us and didn't really acknowledge us until we were engaged with speaking to the second woman at the desk. I told her my name. When she asked for ID, I said that the room was reserved under the credit card of my friend and had my friend offer his ID and credit card as he had at every other hotel. She recoiled. She said no. She wanted the ID for Mattila.the last name the room was reserved under. That was a first for me but caused the front desk person to seem suspicious of me. The friendly conversation grew short and she gave me my keys. She told me which direction to go. As I started to turn my wife entered the lobby with my Service Dog. She had the nerve to say to her co-worker, in front of me, "look at this. " I explained that it was my wife and my Service Dog. She clearly didn't believe me as she repeated back, "That's a Service Dog? " Yep. It is. She did not ask any of the legally allowable questions about what she does for me focusing instead on the dog's size. The dog was not barking and was walking in lockstep with my wife. She was wearing her Service Dog vest.
As soon as we got to our room, I noticed that it appeared that someone had attempted to break in to the room at some point in the past. The wood was chipped off right at the door lock.
Then we noticed that the room smelled like tobacco smoke. One of the Keurig cups with coffee maker was already skewered open. It had not been used but it had clearly been punctured top and bottom.
Above the Keurig was an architectural design. It was like a chimney with no outlet. It created strange echoes and held in every smell. This explained the tobacco scent when we came in except that it was a non-smoking hotel.
The air conditioner filters were dirty. (We cleaned them so we could breathe better.)
The tub looked dirty. We soon found out that this was because the water in the bottom of the tub pooled instead of draining. It was slippery and slimy underneath. We were forced to wear water shoes in the shower.something I don't have to do at campsites!
The sink was cracked. Even the soap at the sink is inconveniently all the way past the sink. And good luck finding the hand towel while you are standing at the sink. They are below the sink, at your knees.
The hotel knew that four people were checking in to the 2 queen bed room. They had provided us with enough towels for 2 people.
The breakfast that Holiday Inn Express prides themselves on was nothing special at this hotel.

Room smelled sort of musty. House keeper tried coming in our room before we were awake. We requested and received a late check out of noon. She was trying to come in our room before normal check out of 11: 00. When questioned she looked at her paper and said " yes, noon I won't let anyone bother you. " I told her thanks but you already did. Nice lady but that's not the point. A lot of traffic (truck) noise with the interstate only a short distance away. However, that is my mistake in not checking just how close the road was from the hotel before I booked it. Front desk staff were great! Over all good stay.

Polite workers, spacious and clean room, fantastic breakfast and the location it's in was beautiful which was a plus! Me and my lady went here because of a concert in the area and slept like a baby. Loved it!

I had a slight issue at check in and Taylor and Madison immediately jumped into action to remedy it. They were so sweet and accommodating!

When we got into our room it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Clean, fully stocked with towels, soaps, and coffee. Beth from housekeeping was absolutely wonderful and did such a great job on our room!

Breakfast was delicious, the pool was clean and refreshing. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

For a short overnight stay it was exactly as neeeded. Clean and comfortable room, and simple but good breakfast. Kids liked the pancake machine.

Beds were wonderful! However, therefore no towels in the room [ minor mistake], however we did call the front desk and they sent up 2 bath towels, that was it. No hand towels, floor mat etc. Just a recommendation that rooms be completely stocked ahead of time

Pretty clean but very bare. Both days had no hot water in the shower. Luke warm at best. A hotel should at least give you a hot shower if nothing else. Probably wont use this hotel every again when visiting family in the area. Help was nice, parking was good.

My experience in this amazing hotel was great, specially from CARMEN she its so humble, very helpful and kind, she make me feel like home, thank you so much for everything she its the reason that i am coming back, she was always making sure that we get the best costumer service, thank you to the guys in the kitchen too, everything was delicious and fresh, i recommended this hotel 100% the hot tub and the pool was incredible, i will comeback soon thank you for everything?
