Wait time is ridiculous. Arrived at 12: 54 PM. Current time is 2: 34 pm and I STILL haven’t been seen. First and last time coming here.

I went in with some dehydration and a possible flu case. The wait was only about 20 minutes (much less than any other walk-in I've been to) and the nurses and doctors were WONDERFUL. So kind and caring, they were respectful and humorous in a way that made me completely comfortable. I will be keeping them at the top of my list for urgent care in the future!

I took my 6yr old, who displayed signs of the flu, 2 weeks ago on Sat. They were supposed to open at 8: 30 am. At 8: 45 am they had a line of people waiting to get in. I called their phone # and asked if they were open. Yes, was their response. I then had to tell them the door was still locked. The receptionist was surprised and told me that she didn't know how to unlock that door. Apparently she found someone who could. We were seen and the doc on duty determined it was just a virus without testing him for flu. I even asked if they would test him
I was told no because Philly was out of liquid Tamilfu anyway. After visiting our own doc. Yep. My son tested positive for the flu and got Tamiflu he needs. This could have turned out very badly. I will not go back to Jeff urgent care under any circumstances

Great location, possibly the best urgent care I've ever been to! The wait was super short, and they had a TV, charging station, and coffee/water in the waiting room. There were also masks and hand sanitizer at the entrance, for customer use. The first time I went, for a severe finger injury, I was treated by Dr. Mirin-he was awesome! His bedside manner was excellent, he was very kind and knowledgable, and he gave me a reccommendation to see a surgery practice where he would shortly be a patient (always great to know that the Doctor uses the services they reccommend). While the nurses were finishing my splint, he even took the time to do extra research on my condition, and brought me a card for the refferral.

On my second visit, for what turned out to be the flu, I was treated by Dr. DiBruno-she was also awesome! I was disgustingly sick when I entered, so I put on a mask, and the staff was still very pleasant even though I'm sure I looked like a walking germ. This time the wait was even shorter-the first time I waited for about three minutes maximum, the second time I didn't even sit, as they took me right back. When I got back there, the Eagles game was on in the examination room, which is so Philly, and so excellent! I was very quickly seen by the nurse, who also had no problem interacting with my grossness (I know that's their job, but still, I appreciated it), and she swabbed me right away for potential conditions. Shortly thereafter, the Doctor came in and did some additional assessments before letting me know that the flu test takes 15 minutes-she wanted me to know they weren't ignoring me, which was very thoughtful of her. When she came back, she informed me that I did have the flu (even though I DID get the flu shot, oh well), and that she had prescribed me Tamiflu aka Oseltamivir. I was told to hit the couch and stay there, which I most definitely did. The prescription was ready right away when I went to Rite Aid.

At the conclusion of each visit, I did not have a co-pay, though they are able to bill them should a patient have one.

Overall, I would and have absolutely reccommended this clinic for urgent care; it is in a cool building, has a continuing patient center, and is very close to SEPTA stops-including the 38, which is super helpful since it is a popular route.

Please give this place a visit next time you need care!

I came in with kidney pain, assuming I had a kidney infection since I've had one before and recognized the signs. I told the doctor, Kyle Wassermann, and he took what I said into consideration and was so helpful. He ended up sending me to the ER where they ran tests, but his whole team at Jefferson Urgent Care was so sweet and caring. They helped me get an Uber to the ER and made sure I was well looked after. Can't say enough kind things about him and his team. Would definitely recommend to anyone if they want quick and thorough care.

Went in with a severely sprained ankle and their "doctor of the day" Dr Einstein focused more on trying to be a comedian, which came off more like being rude considering the pain i was in, than she focused on the x-ray of my ankle. Got sent home with crutches and an ace bandage, but no prescription for an anti-inflammatory or pain killer.

More like a visit to the vet. I have to follow up with a real doctor, also sent me to a pharmacy for over the counter cream. Terrible

I arrived right after it opened on a Tuesday, and they took me back within 10 minutes. I went for knee pain, and a possible running injury. I was in and out quickly, and the staff were all attentive and friendly. They took x-rays, gave me a copy of the scans, wrapped my knee, and sent me off with a card for an appointment I should make at specialist's office. The office was clean and nice. I'm pleased with my visit and would recommend Jefferson Urgent Care to anyone!

Hands down one of the best experiences going to a place like this I've had in my life. Quick wait, staff were all attentive and sweet, nurses were professional and my doctor was very thorough and down to earth. Able to explain everything I was feeling and they really took the time to hear it out and made a point to leave no stone unturned. Walked away a half hour later feeling confident in the diagnoses I got. Glad this place exists.

TL;DR: Waste of money and time, and some sketchy activity.

I went to Jefferson Urgent Care with lower abdominal pain, which had been bugging me for a week. The receptionist was nice and the wait time to see a doctor was not more than 15 minutes.

Before I saw the doctor, a nurse came in to measure my temperature, blood pressure, and ask me for a urine sample. After that was taken care of, she left and the doctor came in. I told him what was bothering me and that I thought it might be a kidney stone (I've had a kidney stone before, felt sort of similar), and that maybe I should have an ultrasound done. He responded by saying that basically, no matter what bothered me then, as long as it didn't cause me severe pain, there was nothing he could do.
He suggested to take Advil, and if I experience more intense pain - go to the ER.
That's it. We paid $150 co-pay and left.

A month later, we got a bill from the Jefferson Hospital that we had to pay $175 more. So, with the co-pay it sums up to $325 total. For what? Good question.

We called Jefferson support center for details. They checked my profile and were absolutely confused about the bill. There were no diagnosis, no prescriptions, or any additional procedures mentioned on my file. They told us they'd call us back.

Fast forward: turns out I had a "Visit with 2 interventions. " Remember the nurse? Apparently, she is a "nurse practitioner. "
Which means that even though she is doing what a standard nurse would do, her services are charged at doctor's price. So, heads up?

-
To sum it up:
How long was the visit? - 10 minutes
How much was the visit? - $325
Was I diagnosed? - No
The number of times I was asked if I was pregnant - 5 total
Will I go there again or recommend it to anyone? - Definitely not.

To make a wonderful experience even better, I went to a different hospital a week after my visit because the pain was too much. The doctor there suspected a cyst and sent me to get an ultrasound done ASAP — Turns out he was right, it was a cyst.
Once the US results were ready, the doctor prescribed me medication, and now I'm healthy and happy.

The second hospital's prices, for comparison: doctor's visit was $25 (they have discounts for travellers like me), and the ultrasound was $125.

The moral of the story: don't go to the Jefferson Urgent Care or you might end up leaving with something serious undiagnosed.

Oh, and you'll overpay.

So the other reviews are true. The doctor is condescending and rude and I couldn't help but wonder in the minute I spent with him if (best case scenario) he possibly had some form of aspergers. He said his diagnosis as he started to walk out the room and looked irritated when I had questions about one of the medications. Fairly surprised because the nurse and medical assistant were really nice. He seemed bored and like he would rather not be bothered by patient arrivals.

Friendly staff but took forever to see a doctor! Waited 40 minutes when it was not very busy and i would say When they actually came that it didn't take longer than 1 min

Personally my care was fast and suffincient. I did witness one of the receptionists turn away an elderly patient because she didn't have her insurance card. Just seconds before she allowed me to look up and call me insurance because I too had forgotten my card. She was a uncaring and dismissive. The woman could do nothing but feebly gather her belongings and leave. It was so wrong.

Outstanding care! Helpful receptionists who were so kind to me and my baby girl. Thorough nursing care and very personable physician. I couldn't recommend them more. If my primary care physician at PENN wasn't so great I would transfer care to Jefferson.

Very attentive care. My problem was treated professionally and efficiently. They have a lot of staff that are well trained and respect all of the patients. The doctor I saw was ER trained so highly qualified. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

This place gets one star only because the staff was nice and we were there for only an hour. Otherwise I wouldnt go here again. Took my 3 year old here Sunday morning for a rash he had along with a fever. They sent me home with a scrip for benadryl. We went to his pediatrician the next morning and they did a throat culture on him. Turns out hes got strep and scarlet fever. I couldnt believe they would misdiagnose him like that and to me its gross negligence.
