Department Store Macy's reviews
36Macy’s really has had excellent merchandise lately-Incredible deals-and I have to say, FABULOUS SERVICE! The women that work at Macy’s Monroeville really go out of their way to help and provide just excellent service! Thank you ladies at Macy’s!
The sale clerk was very nice and she gave me a discount on the outfit my husband bought me because it had two stains on it and even suggested how to get the stains out. She was wonderful.
We visited Macy's in Monroeville on July 5. There was many great deals to be found as I moved through the men's suits department. I needed a new suit for an upcoming wedding and found exactly what I needed.
The staff was very helpful and there was no pressure on the timing or questions that I had.
Overall the experience was great and I will return for another shopping trip.
Love Macy's. Have not visited the store for quite sometime. Had to go inside the store. Macy's staff is always so professional and courteous.
This was my second attempt at Bobby brown cosmetics. The first time I left with 200 worth of makeup that didn't match. This time although I was acknowledged by two people I didn't get any assistance despite my wait. I think the employees are intimidated by color matching people of color. This is a mall, you should hire people that can match all people or don't advertise black makeup.
Noticed less product on shelves. Catering to lower income patrons. Very sad what is happening in this country! Won't be going back to Monroeville Mall!
This Macy's is great! I love the external appearance! It used to be Horne's and Lazarus. My only complaint: I'm not a fan of the Excel Dryer Xlerator hand dryers that this store uses. They are WAY TOO LOUD! The elevator is a Westinghouse with EPCO CircleLine. Great service, too. Overall, good location.
Had a wonderful time at Macy's yesterday. So blessed to live in a area that has that store
. The shoe department was great as usual. Hope in the cosmetic department made me feel special. Thank you Hope.
Shopping in the Men's Suit department. I had excellent customer service from Susan and Wayne. Both staff incredibly friendly, nice and helpful. Regretfully, I could not find what I was looking for. The Alfani line does not offer every fabric/pattern in every size.
The hands on shopping experience cannot be beat and neither can the sales at Macy’s! Not to mention Barbara in the women’s shoe department is the absolute sweetest human and so knowledge! She’s so dedicated to customer service and it really shows️
Went in today to find a dress for my maternity photos to come to find out that they discontinued their maternity section due to covid. What? ! Why would you discontinue maternity clothes? People are still having babies probably having even more babies cause everyone's been stuck in the house. I was very disappointed, I hate shopping online for clothes and when I searched stores that carry maternity dresses Macy's was the first one to pop up in my area.
Really good service. There was this one lady who rung us up 10 minutes past closing, after she was ready to leave. She was nothing but nice still, and even gave us a 20 percent off coupon. The whole time I was thinking "if clothing stores had tip jars. " honestly the service was that good.
I have a daughter (12) and two boys (8,6), their selection of clothing for my kids ages is horrible. The section labeled for their sizes is tiny. Honestly, don't waste your time.
I love that you can order online & if you dont like your item or if it doesn"t fit, etc. You can return in two ways (1) either take back to any Macy's store or (2) call CS & they'll get a return mailing kabel to you. They have great sales & I can always find something for me or as a gift. Sad that some stores by me closed so I have to travel farther to visit a store.
I don't care too much for this Macy's location.
I prefer Robinson Town Center and Ross Park Mall locations. Clothing & shoes are of greater quality.
We never go to malls, who does anymore. But we needed luggage and Macy's had a huge selection at good prices. They are one of the few department stores left worth shopping. But like others, if you need help there is very little staff.
Four stars because the women's clothing selections are going downhill. The men's clothing are more stylist. Overall this is one of the only reasons I still shop at Monroeville Mall.
Macy's is a very friendly store. They will bend over backwards to help you. I'm talking about the Monroeville Mall location. Just got home from a great shopping experience at Macy's.
As others have posted here already, this store is pretty good overall (the staff and selection being the best part), but the complete lack of A/C is insane. With record summer highs, it's absolutely unacceptable to have the A/C off! And then you wonder why stores like this keep losing business to online retailers. Utterly disgraceful
I have been a Macy’s customer for years and I have enjoyed my shopping experience there. The store is always clean and the sales people are very helpful. But the past few times this summer, my friends and I have noticed the heat has been very overwhelming, making it hard to stay shopping for any large amount of time. Your attention to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
