Max's Steaks reviews
34We have been there several times! They never disappoint. I will go there every time I come to Philly.
All the way from Baltimore! No way I can be as close as King of Prussia Mall and not make the visit to Max's. Never disappointed! We we're in n out in 15 minutes! Excellent!
Took a first timer with us and he enjoyed every bit of it. We'll be back! Yum!
All the way from Virginia! I was born and raised in Philly. Excellent visit home. My hubby and I enjoyed Max's! It was his first philly cheese steak experience. He loved it!
Unlike many famous cheesesteak places that give you tons of bread and no meat, this place loads it up. Super tasty
OMG i actually stood in line for over a hour for this dog gone cheese steak, if i didnt come from new york i would have left as soon as i saw the line, but i have to say as soon as i sat down and started eating i soon for got how long the wait was. It's a must spot to visit if you are a cheese steak lover
I REALLY ENJOYED THE STEAK SUB BEST I EVER HAD COMING FROM BALTIMORE TO PHILLY IS THE BEST THING I COULD'VE DONE
An hour wait for soggy bread and overcooked steak. Worst cheesesteak I've had in my life. Skip this spot.
This is by far the best cheesesteak in the city. I didn't even know about it and I've lived in Philly almost my whole life. Be prepared to wait a while. I was a little confused upon entering on where I should go to order and where I should go after I order, but I figured it out.
Had thr chicken cheesesteak and it was so delisious. Orderd a 1/2 and you could easily share with someone. Went around 7: 30p on a thursday so expect to wait. It was worth it.
A Philadelphia resident said that the restaurant is the best but I haven't tried it. I'm in the city from Brooklyn and I don't want to be disappointed but it's probably best if I don't play with my stomach. I've eaten the best food that I've prepared myself and restaurant food will never taste better than your own
Max's is the bomb and I cant wait to get back to philly to stop here. I come to philly every year and I have to hit up a philly cheesesteak spot before leaving. This place is easily in my top 2 so far. If you're visiting philly, this is a must stop! Just be prepared to wait in line wrapping around outside
Best Steaks In Philly! I've heard of Pat's and Geno's and I gave both a try. I was not impressed with either one, a Philly native told me to try Max's Steaks. Max's makes the best steaks I've ever had, I will never go anywhere else. I'm from NYC and I drive to Philly just for Max's.
One of the 4 places I'll actually eat a cheesteak from in Philly.the food is good once you actually get it. Standing in line for over a half an hour is routine. They could take a page out of Jim's/dalessandro's/and John's roast pork in terms of speed and customer service. I'm certain they could increase there profit margins if it didn't take almost an hour to make one fn steak. Only in the damn hood.
Great steaks. Lots of meat. The staff is quick and efficient. I live in Jersey and it was worth the trip before returning home. I had so much left that I had to eat the 2nd portion the next day it taste even better the next day. I highly recommended.
