Being told you will be seen in September to than having no contact with me and than for me to reach out to them to tell me I won’t be seen until January 2021 is utterly heart breaking I’m so upset with this place.

After waiting on hold for someone for over 30 minutes the person I spoke to was very kind! Every star is for you, buddy. Unfortunately, the wait list for gender affirming care is currently An Entire Year Long. Please consider hiring more doctors or working out more availability. I was warned your waitlist was long before calling, but an entire year? In a country where we are expected to pay for medical care? That's pretty absurd. I was not recommended anywhere else or pointed in another direction.

My Father passed away 10 days ago. Death Certificate was sent to them a dozen times, multiple phone calls, emails. Still have not been able to proceed with funeral arrangements due to Doctors not signing death certificate. We get the run around. Medical and police arrived day of his passing and obtained DC, but it is on his Primary Care physician to sign DC. Without it, we cannot proceed. Very sad and frustrating.

The Mazzoni Center is a wonderful place! I do not usually leave reviews, but seeing the abundance of one star reviews was very strange to me. I have received wonderful care from providers there, who have always been comforting and accommodating - while remaining professional. Without the Mazzoni Center I would not have been able to transition. The desk staff are quiet but helpful.

Gotta scedual way in advance basically gotta get the right person on the phone if you need an emergency visit same day. Sometimes it cant happen but def had people help me out there so that's where they get an extra star.other than that idk.seeing multiple different people instead of my same doctor doesnt seem like the right move.

I have been going to the Mazzoni center for over 8 years since i have been living in the city, to say i am satisfied with my service there is an understatement. This place is amazing, from the service to the people i have never received anything but 110% from everyone to help me in any way i needed. The location is very clean and your wait is never long; in a time where this kind of medical care is not always affordable they have made it easy to maintain your personal and sexual health without the stress of cost. The Mazzoni center is a great example of how healthcare and the public should be treated. Bravo

Used the patient portal to get my meds refilled, they won't send a new script to the pharmacy, they want my pharmacist to fax them a refill, my pharmacist has sent it on 8/30/19, again on 9/6/19 and again on 9/11/19. And still no refill for my HRT meds. Mazzoni center apparently no longer uses the patient portal to communicate with their patients. 6yrs going there and. Now I'm seriously considering finding a new Trans Care office. Cause apparently Mazzoni center doesn't care if you get your meds or not.

The staff and Doctors are awesome. Added benefit is the food Bank you can go to three times a month.

Had another positive experience today. Dr. Gross is a great provider—smart, compassionate, and thorough. Friendly staff, professional but comfortable environment, good communication via portal. Grateful to have Mazzoni Center as a community medical resource.

Unable to see patients on same day if not feeling well.rudeness was appled by a woman who answer phone. I even was willing to wait 2 days, but was told it will be 6 days instead. This place is not the same as what doctor mazzoni has wished and foreseen.looking for a new doctor for my healthcare

The work is important but the organization is abysmal. How many controversies (public or quieter, internal issues) must there be until they realize that the the leadership is failing?

Got switched to a new doctor, Dr. Gross. Saw her once after my old doctor stopped working at the office and got my hormones set. Almost a year goes by (the normal amount of time between appointments that I’d had with my old doctor after 3+years of HRT). Ran out of meds, needed a refill and was told I needed to make my next appointment. The morning of, I learned the bus company I normally used for transportation to Philly went under, so I had to reschedule. Doctor wouldn’t refill my scripts unless I got external bloodwork done, citing my safety. Two weeks later, after a few messages trying to get a blood test apt set up elsewhere, no response during that time. Then a week later I get a message saying she hasn’t been in the office and will send a 2 week script to last til my apt. My question, if my health is so damn important that you can’t send one more month, then why would you make me stop them for essentially three weeks only to send a small script? Now when I go in to my rescheduled apt my labs are obviously gonna be f*d due to your lack of availability.

I’ve been going to Mazzoni Center since probably 2013 or so. The staff are kind and the doctors are awesome! Recently had 5 tubes of blood taken. Could not feel any pain when the needle was inserted and no pain or bruising afterward. Highly recommend this place!

I have tried to get case management from them for months but constantly got the run-around. I am transitioning and just got out of jail and they told me "considering the circumstances, you wouldn't be a good fit".

I've been coming here for a decade.before they moved, it was truly the best place to receive the plethora of health and mental care in philadelphia.the staff were friendly, understanding, listened to you, appointments were available with the doctors you asked for, it felt like a family.ever since they moved to bainbridge and all the doctors started leaving, its just not the same level of care at all.appointments are non existent, they had none of my paperwork or history ready when i showed up.the staff seems to be more annoyed than ever, and short with the patients.the doctors dont seem to know anything.the mental health staff were clueless about all the things i asked.i dont know what happened, but i wish they would go back to the way it was before bainbridge.i've already switched providers, it was hard to do, but without that level of care, i dont see any point in going there anymore.

Literally the best trans health provider I've ever been to, they'll always go above and beyond for you. Love everyone I've ever had the pleasure of talking to over there.

Appointment reschedules now are 2 months +. A major concern for any patient seeking quality healthcare. I love the inclusiveness of the facility, but the exclusive appointments are concerning. I am not sure how to seek quality healthcare from a facility that can only see you 2 months out. This was not an issue in the past. Typically patient reschedule time was 2 - 4 weeks max.i. E (I am an insurance holder).
