MedExpress Urgent Care reviews
24All I needed was my blood drawn. Very difficult and extremely long waiting time. Not allowed to get an appointment time. I can't wrap my head around this extremely poor customer service.
The wait time is nuts, and I could have been told over the phone that "we can't treat that here, you need to follow through with a PCP. " Once I finally made it inside the Nurse Practitioner was very efficient and helpful, even within the limited scope of what they could do.
Make an appointment if you need a drug screen, due to covid you won’t get in right away even though it’s a 5 min test (if you’re ready). I waited in my car for almost 2 hours with a full bladder.
A positive Covid-19 test. I called ahead to get on the schedule. The wait time was minimal. They called you into the building when it was your turn. I had a loss of smell, so they administered a rapid nasal swab. 15 minutes later the test came back positive.
The staff, doctor were compassionate, professional, and informative. I left MedExpress with a clear understanding of what I needed to do to protect my family and the community from Covid spread.
I have been to MedExpress for stitches, staples, and wound infection. I've always had great experiences here.
Incredibly slow, I waited for 2.5 hours one day for a drug screen and as I was walking out got the authorization for the physical but they couldn’t do it cuz I had been checked out somehow already and the following day came at 11 said they weren’t taking anymore patients was told to try back at 1 so I did and they put me on the list which was supposed to be 30 mins and I finally got in around 2: 45 and left the building at 4 and didn’t pass any patients coming or going, for service this slow I shoulda had to climb over people to get out! Insane!
Two trips in one week, experienced three front desk staff. Two wanted nothing to do with being there and probably shouldn't work with people. Especially the short bald guy. Don't be rude to sick people.
I worked at both the other guys urgent cares in town but I had to come to this one for an employment drug test. And literally everything about this place is better than those other guys. Seriously.
I’ve been to this MedExpress location 4 times in the last few months for myself and my children and have nothing but positives to share. The staff has been friendly, wait times have been appropriately estimated and communicated, and most importantly I’ve been seen by a qualified physician, diagnosed, and treated. Thank you for providing this service for those who cannot get in to see their doctor at a certain day/time!
My son went there with a very large head wound. He waited over 90 minutes to be seen and no concussion protocol was given after having been hit in the head with a 2x12. For the follow up to remove the staples, it was over 90 minutes again! Would've been quicker at the ER!
Very slow. Sat in waiting room for 40 minutes before we realized nobody was being called back. Would not recommend.
Wait time was minimal. Staff were professional and friendly. Medical staff listened throughly. Diagnosis was spot on. Medications are working.
The staff, nurses and Dr are all very friendly! They get you through three process very quickly and smoothly! I love MedExpress
Everyone was extremely kind, caring and professional! The wait time was a little longer than I expected but not horrible. One thing that struck me was how clean and neat this office us. I will return to this site.
I was a little hesitant to come to this urgent care based on the reviews. However, I needed to be seen and it’s one of three locations my insurance was accepted. I went as soon as they opened and I was in and out in an hour with Meds and all!
I saw Dr Ke who was wonderful. I went in for a reoccurrence of staph so I needed antibiotics. I like to think I’m a very informed patient and I was very happy with all the information she made sure was relayed to me. A lot of times Drs.diagnose you give you meds send you on your way. Dr. Ke made sure she mentioned all of the precautions you should take when taking antibiotics along with other information I didn’t get the last time I was seen at an urgent care for staph. Front desk was kind, quick, Dr was great, facility was clean, RX was same price as local pharmacy’s which made it more convenient than going to Giant Eagle to get them filled.
I had hurt my ankle badly 2 hours away out of town and this place was closing 15 min before i was suppose to get there. I had called before hand and they said they could take an X-ray for me as long as i got there 15 min before closing. This was the only urgent care covered by my insurance. The nurses all helped me and got me prepared as fast as possible with comforting service. I appreciate what they had done for me even though they were closing very soon.
Great experience for my son. He had strep throat. Nurses and doctor and staff very friendly.
Waited about 45 minutes.happy to wait for the convenience of care. People need to realign expectations in their lives who complain about waiting
Staff was courteous. I was seen promptly and docter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Was in and out fairly quickly.
Wonderful care! Kind and empathetic and highly knowledgeable. I was seen after food poisoning, they were able to administer IV fluids without having to go to ER. I was traveling away from my home state and took a chance on this clinic. Glad I did! Everybody was great from receptionist to medical support staff and nurse and physician. I am also a licensed RN and was impressed with all levels of care. Thank you!
(Correction to my last review) On my initial visit the wait was long; however it was a little busy. Also, my injury was diagnosed incorrectly, the second visit (follow up) they did send me to a specialist, thankfully. They are friendly and polite there, which is difficult to find these days. I would like to give a better review but the initial visit is really a big deal.
Waited over an hour for a drug screening not a very pleasant experience I would not recommend this place to anyone
