Was simply told the doctor would not give me a physical because I do mma and doesn't know my medical background. At least the one front desk employee was extremely nice after telling me I wount be seen. Just needed a physical but apparently the doctor doesn't know anything about my brain.

Wanted to get a physical form filled out. The doctor at MedExpress said that my regular doctor needed to fill this out. The form says any licensed physician can perform. No patients either. Must be nice to sit around and get $$$.

Date of visit 5/5/19 3 pm.

Felt so awful, I was convinced I would end up in the hospital. They make you sign a signature pad without being able to to read any of the FIVE documents you are signing. Because I don't have insurance (because I work for myself and can't afford even the most basic level of insurance at $600/Mo), I had to pay cash. They charged my card $120 before they would do ANYTHING and said depending on what the doctor said and did, it could go up to $250 and/or up over $300. A nurse took my vitals and led me into a room. I was seen quickly only because I was the very forfi person there when they opened. The doctor listened to me breathe 5 or 6 times with his stethoscope, told me I had the flu and to go home and take Tylenol. I understand they have to charge something and make money, but I literally paid $120 to be told "You're sick. Go home and take Tylenol. " Ok, can I get $70 back? A whole other sepersep issue is the fact I can't afford insurance because I work too much. Sickening.
