Staff are rude and unprofessional. The reception staff brought my pregnant wife to tears by how they treated her. Will never return.

Dr. D insulted my intelligence while treating my daughter's infected earring opening. He said "use soap and water, no hydrogen peroxide, no alcohol". To which I said, "ok so nothing antibacterial? " And he said "soap is antibacterial. " I responded ". If it's antibacterial soap. " He then went to tersely tell me all soap is "antibacterial" and that's why we wash our hands etc.

To correct Dr. D, all soap is NOT antibacterial, it simply acts to break the surface tension of water, making the water much more effective at removing dirt and bacteria. He apparently assumed I did not know the difference between regular soap and a soap with a chemical additive such as triclosan that makes it antibacterial.

We also waited nearly an hour to be seen, and when we were seen he did not attempt to clean the ear, simply told us to do it, and gave us a prescription for a topical antibiotic. The whole visit by the doctor probably lasted all of 3 minutes after an impossibly long wait.

We will not be coming back.

The only good thing I can say is the wait time was minimal. I wasted my time and got no real help.

Had to go here for a pre employment drug screen. Which have gone for before at other actual labs like labcorp for example which explained everything great. The girl was pleasant and gave me the normal cup to go in which at every other place I've ever had to do this you have to atleast make sure you get above the temperature stickers which i did plenty. Then when i brought it out was told ohh it's not enough we do something called 2 sample something. I dont know funny never heard of anything like that anywhere but heres my problem with that. HOW ABOUT TELL SOMEONE THAT BEFORE THEY GO MAYBE EVEN MARK WHERE YOU NEED TO REACH.just a thought call me crazy. Then was preceeded to be told I could stay for 3hours and get water every 20mins.did I mention my 4year old daughter was there.ya who has time or wouldve thought youd need 3hours for a simple test. I dont know what games they play there but they had more than enough to test. Which again had same tests done at actual labs who never heard of such thing either.which again wouldntypu think this should be told to someone before you start because if you go out the doors it was all for nothing. Again whatever BS or whatever reason I know it was a lie. I suggest if any company actually wants to hire people and not waste everyone's time should really pick an actual lab like everyone else. And for anyone who had to go here without being able to choose where.for starters make sure you drink alot that you'll be able to go. Well over the temp marker cuz you wont be told that til after (how convenient) but who knows I'm sure if u did fill 2 samples then they'll proabbly claim they need 3.good luck hopefully who you want to work for is smart enough not to use a med express to do so

The nurses and doctor were great, so my review doesn't reflect them. But as a transgender patient, I felt repeatedly disrespected by the staff operating the main desk. My name, voice, appearance, and paperwork all clearly indicate that I'm a man, my medical record shows that I've specifically had transgender related surgeries and care, and they spoke on the phone with my employer who obviously referred to me with the proper pronouns. Despite all of this, they repeatedly referred to me as "she" to the point that it felt purposeful rather than accidental. I'm not the type of person to cry transphobia over any little thing because misunderstandings happen, but this felt egregious. I mean, I haven't been misgendered like this in years and have a beard that's visible even while wearing a mask.there shouldn't have been any confusion. Again, this was only about the front desk staff. The nurses and doctor I met were wonderful.

It is a shame I had to give them the one star. I was turned away, without even seeing a doctor. My eye started hurting. The least that a doctor there could have done was take a look.

Extremely rude & unprofessional staff. They do not have even a single clue on how to deal with people asking for health services. I turned back from the entrance and will never go back to this or any other MedExpress site anymore. There are many other professional health care services to choose from.

Med Express, McKnight Road, was excellent. They provided immediate service and the Doctor, Nurses, and Reception/Bill/Check-Out Employee were courteous, efficient, and very helpful, Thank you.

If you're able to go to another Med Express, do it. The call ahead process is unorganized, most staff is rude and unable to answer questions. Only gave it 2 stars for the one staff member that was kind and knowledgeable.

This place is terrible, go elsewhere, inexperienced doctors and horrible staff.expect long wait times too. The manager at this facility is useless, and will insist on billing you as many times as possible even if u return for a "free" followup due to complications within 10 days, stay away, just more pain

Just got charged 25 dollars for a sling 3 months later after my visit. They didn’t tell me it would end up costing me money. It made my shoulder hurt worse so I never even wore it. Employees should have let me known I’d be charged for that and I was not noticed that I would be. Never going back and will not be recommending this place to anyone

We were the only ones in the waiting room, and it’s taken over an hour of just waiting here in an exam room. Much of the staff is just hanging out - it’s hard to imagine charting that long for maybe one other patient.
We came for my 5 year old son, and when it came time for a throat swab, the staff member Kayla walked in without a word or even a look at either of us and when I said “Hello” just said “have to swab his throat. ” I asked her what her name is, and she said “Kayla. Have to swab his throat. ”
The PA, Liz is great. She was quick, kind, and helped us greatly.

This place is a last resort - front office people are nice, as is the PA. Unfortunately everything in between is awful.

This place is literally hell on earth. I came here back in November for a fractured foot. I was in the office for a total of THREE HOURS just for the doctor to tell me to rest my foot. She didn’t even wrap it. (I am a college student with a job I do not have time to rest). I went back in today, after telling myself I’d never go back, because I was desperate. I have paronychia, an infection on the side of the toe, and the pain is almost unbearable. I was there for TWO HOURS just to be with a PA for 5 minutes. The PA poked my toe with a needle to “drain it” and honestly made it worse. The only thing it did was cause a lot of bleeding. She put a tiny bandaid on an open wound she had just poked open and didn’t even wrap it. By the time I got to my car my socks were covered in blood. Don’t waste your time or money here. I always leave here extremely frustrated.

My 6 year old daughter had the flu and this office tested her for both strep and the flu. Turned out she had type A flu and was prescribed Tamiflu. She is feeling better already. A lot of places say they have the flu test and come to find out they don’t. This place was clean professional and adequately staffed with physicians and PAs so the wait was very short. The staff were very kid friendly and just as sweet as can be and really made us feel great about being there. I don’t say this about many urgent care centers but this is now my go to place and would recommend to anyone.

Went here for a pre-employment drug screening. The women at the reception desk were friendly and professional. The wait time was a bit long, but that wouldn't have bothered me if the girl who was doing my screening didn't have such a bad attitude. Very rude and unpleasant.

This place is terrible. I called and asked if they had the rapid flu test. They said yes they do. So I go in and they claim they "ran out". Complete lies just to get you to go there. Then they refused to treat me and told me I had to go to the hospital. Didn't even touch me even though all I had was something similar to the flu. Also they have signs that say they can treat dehydration but when you ask about it they say they don't have the staff. After all that they sent me a $250 bill for not even getting near me. Never go to this place unless you want to throw your money in the trash.

I hesitated about going there after reading some reviews, but decided to make up my own mind about it.

My wait time was very minimal, as I went about 9: 30am on a Wednesday.
The receiving and check out staff was extremely pleasant and the place was clean. I did get a bit of an attitude from both ladies in the triage room. They were abrupt and seemed impatient, rapid-firing questions, without even looking at me. The dr was very nice, professional, and took her time, gave an unrushed exam. I highly recommend her.

I was given a 15-minute breathing treatment, but the tubing didn't work.however, one of the same young ladies in triage had hooked it up, handed it to me and walked out, without making sure that it was working properly. No one checked on me for the full 15 minutes. The other young lady from triage came in and saw that it wasn't working, she fixed the problem, and I had to wait another 15 minutes, but at least that was productive. I received my prescriptions, and had another pleasant experience from the check-out staff.

I would have given 5 stars for this location had it not been for the uncomfortable triage experience, and the impatience of the tech who hooked up the breathing machine the first time.
